I just finished the book like...a day ago.
So, anyway, the book was great,
action packed from the very beginning till the end.
And the body counts rival even an Arnold movie.
Lol!
But i do have some little complains though...
Lots of stuff that hasn't been explain,
like, who or exactly what is that crying infant thingie
in the chapter "King Cross"?
And what happen to the Dursley Lot?
And Luna, Dean, Seamus, Cho Chang...and the rest?
And the ending feels....hallow.
No pun indeed, but really,
it feels as if JK Rowling wrote that hastily,
and it's one of a major put down fpr this book.
But nevertheless, the saga will
definitely enter the hall of literacy classic
or whatever you call it,
even if some critics literally hated the book.
Alas, a goodbye to our beloved boy wizard of all time.
Unless Rowling write another one or more...
who knows? It's hard to give up such a humongous cash cow.
Haha...

The life after Harry Potter...
NegarakuKu
This pretty much sums up
whatever our country is like.
50 years after our country's independence,
advance in all the infrastructures and stuff,
but the mindset deteriorate year after year.

Crazy Taliban
My prayer goes out to the Korean who was shot dead
by those bunch of mother-f**king Talibans,
the families and relatives, as well as hostages whose
fate are still unknown.
What can i say,
they're crazy, stupid, brainless,
and monster.
They're not even human.
The world will collapse if their brutality carries on.
What are they? Gods?
How dare they make childish demands and killed innocents?
"Since Kabul's administration did not listen to our demand and did not free our prisoners, the Taleban shot dead a male Korean hostage," Qari Yousuf Ahmadi, a Taleban spokesman, said yesterday.
"If the administration of Kabul is not ready to release our hostages, then by 1am the rest of the hostages will be killed. That time is the last deadline," he added.
They'll rot in hell, that's for sure. Moron, son of bitches they are.
It'll be a karma cycle that has no end.
Note: I'm not being racist nor against Islamic beliefs. In fact, i have a few close Islamic friends who has a sane mindset, peace loving, great personality and what's more, they are devout Islamics! For me, Islam is a heavy moral, peace loving religion, but what those Talibans claims that they are fighting under Allah's name?
Bah! Lies, more like Satan's offsprings. No Gods or Higher Powers will go and ask their devotees to killed or harm another lives.
Once again, my prayer goes out for those who were sacrificed, and hopefully those who are still alive will be release safely.
iPhone? Seriously.
1. Only supports EDGE (2.5G)!! Come on! I thought HSDPA was suppose to be THE must have in most smart phones? My Atom is way better.
2. Battery life sucks: Five hours of talk/browsing/email or 16 hours of audio playback? Look, we're not saying the iPhone isn't an amazing device, but you're going to want a charger on your desk at work, one in your car, one on your bedside table...
3. Built-in battery: It must be the only mobile phone on the market that doesn't have an easily user-replaceable battery. We know from the iPod that batteries age pretty quickly, but who wants to send their phone back to Apple for servicing when it needs a new battery? I don't want to have to go back to my dowdy old Nokia while Apple swaps the battery.
4. Touch screen: Have you ever stood at a touch-screen terminal in a shop punching away at the screen, trying to get it to register your touch? Despite what Apple disparagingly called "small plastic keyboards" on other mobiles, they're way more likely to work reliably than a touch-screen. No doubt Jobs has licensed the world's best touch-screen technology, but it's still likely to be the weakest point of the phone. And by the way, LG Prada preceded the phone with the techonology months earlier. Duh!
5. Heavy data usage: There's a reason why networks love ‘push email' phones like the Blackberry: it's because a tremendous amount of compression and optimisation can be done at the carrier-side before the data is sent over the air. An ultra-heavy user of a Blackberry might only use 20MB in a month - regular users will use just a few megs. On the other hand, the iPhone uses old-world ‘polling' email methods - POP3 or IMAP, where the phone will check every X minutes for new email and download full emails. The phone might have enough CPU power to rescale that 7MB JPEG, but it still has to download a 7MB JPEG. Either the service fees that go with the phone are going to be huge, or carriers are going to take a bath on data pricing and risk network congestion.
6. Uh...2MP camera, with no video recorder?? Damn, now i realize my old Motorola V360 is way better.
7. Proprietary tie-ins: Look, I'm not saying that the rest of the mobile industry isn't rife with proprietary tie-ins. Every carrier installs their crap onto mobiles, they disable useful manufacturer features so that you're forced to use their less-useful and more expensive services. But shouldn't we hold Apple to a higher standard? The iPhone can do push email according to Jobs, but only for people who have a Yahoo webmail account. Bad luck if you prefer Gmail or some other mail provider.
8. No video iChat: Er, hello? Apple has an incredible base of customers out there with integrated webcams - doubtlessly more than any other PC or software maker - so what a missed opportunity!
9. The phone cost around $599, AND we have to pay $59.99 per month, and have no freedom of choosing the network we like (bound to AT&T or was it Cingular) Damn. One year worth of mobile fees, you could buy another new phone instead.
10. Only 8GB storage: Ok, ok, sure, it's the biggest storage capacity of any phone on the market, probably, but 8GB is still pretty limited. Considering how good the video playback capabilities of the iPhone are, it's unfortunate that you won't actually be able to fit that much video on the device.
Jared at the DKS Weblog points out that the iPhone is also incapable of any syncing via WiFi or Bluetooth, despite having support for both.
Keypad sucks (well, technically, it's not even a keypad)
measly storage amount
Can't change or remove battery
expensive mobile fees
Suck-y battery life
no 3G or better yet, 3.5G
Pricey
Well, what can i say?
I hate iPod, and will still feels the same way with iPhone.
Sure, the design was great, but it really doesn't live up the hype.
And my Atom is waaaaay......better. Really.
Under my umbrella-ella-ella-ella-eh-eh-ella-ella.....
I weren't that keen on Rihanna's Umbrella when i
first heard that song. It's annoying, with the repetive
ella(s), but what can i say, after a couple repeats,
the song stuck in my head like...i don't know how to
describe. Just plain annoying and at the same time...
uh...addictive? Haha...
Anyway, i came across another version of the ella...oops,
Umbrella, which was covered by singer-songwriter Scott Simons.
I have to say, his version is a lot better, and tolerable,
to say the least. His voice is...oh so sexy, deep and husky(?)
Anyway, do check out the song by following the link below.
You'll like his version of the most annoying song to date
(well, to me, at least...haha...Gwen Stefani's nanananas verse from her song Rich Girl still stuck in my head after all these years. Lol!!)

CRY
CRY
I'm not the type to get my heart broken
I'm not the type to get upset and cry
'Cause I never leave my heart open
Never hurts me to say goodbye
Relationships don't get deep to me
Never got the whole in love thing
And someone can say to love me truly
But at the time it didn't mean a thing
My mind is gone
I'm spinnin' round
And deep inside my tears are dryin'
I'm losin' grip, what's happenin'?
I stray from love,
This is how I feel
This time was different,
Felt like I was just a victim
And it cut me like a knife
When you walked outta my life
Now I'm in this condition
And I've got all the symptoms
Of a guy with a broken heart
But no matter what you'll never see me cry
Did it happen when we first kissed
Cause it's hurting me to let it go
Maybe 'cause we spend so much time
And I know that it's no more
I should've never let you hold me baby
Maybe why I'm sad to see us apart
I didn't give it to you on purpose
Can't figure out how you stole my heart
My mind is gone I'm spinnin' round
And deep inside my tears are dryin'
I'm losin' grip, what's happenin'?
I stray from love,
This is how I feel
This time was different,
Felt like I was just a victim
And it cut me like a knife
When you walked outta my life
Now I'm in this condition
And I've got all the symptons
Of a guy with a broken heart
But no matter what you'll never see me cry
How did I get here with you I never know
I never meant to let it get so personal
And after all l I tried to do
Staying away from love with you
I'm broken hearted I can't let you know
And I won't let it show
You won't see me cry
This time was different,
Felt like I was just a victim
And it cut me like a knife
When you walked outta my life
Now I'm in this condition
And I've got all the symptoms
Of a guy with a broken heart
But no matter what you'll never see me cry
This time was different,
Felt like I was just a victim
And it cut me like a knife
When you walked outta my life
Now I'm in this condition
And I've got all the symptons
Of a guy with a broken heart
But no matter what you'll never see me cry
All my life

Harry Potter and The Ugly Price War
Ok, i got the title from Saturday's The Star.
Just to express how frustrating and angry i was the day the book was release.
People around the world got the book simultaneously at the same time,
while the stupid store only open at....11 am because of the stupid
price war between the bookstore chains and hypermarkets.
I mean, come on,
that's like so childish and immature,
the pricing for the book here in Malaysia (RM109.90)
is the second most expensive after Australia!
Even US sells the book for less than RM50!
They're so lucky people still queuing up to collect their books at all.
It's bad enough they canceled the launching activities,
but they even go to an extend of refusing to open the store for us to collect the book on time!!
I, was one of those few who was waiting anxiously outside the store from 6.30am!!
And no one told us what the heck happened!!!
But all in all,
i still got my book (Thank The Great Lord!!)
And it was real good.
Action packed to say the least,
and was a gazillion times better than the snooze fest
Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince.
I give the latest one 8.5 stars out of 10.
Great job Joanne Kathleen Rowling!
And yes, i'm one of a handful of crazy fans in Malaysia
who splurged a jaw dropping RM235.00 for the special limited edition of the book.
And it was worth every cent as the binding is way better than the standard version.
Mat Pencuri.
Ok,
it's official,
my grandparents just set the world record for
being the most robbed individuals in the world.
A record shattering 9 times (5 breaking and entering).
Damn,
honestly, if a mere thief can sneak under the AUTHORITIES' nose
and steal a huge Porsche AND filled the petrol tank,
seriously, no where is safe.
If i go on lamenting on this issue,
SOMEONE is bound to yak on how lame i am or whatever.
Well, i guess it's all up to the higher power now.
Or was i sleep talking.
You be the judge.
HAPPY
Hall, this is for you.
And no, i won't shoot you back with Irreplaceable.
Why don't you just fuck off and
wreck havoc in other people's blog?
I have all the rights to lament on whatever i like.
HAPPY
I understand why you're looking for tears in my eyes,
Trust me they were there but now the well has run dry,
I was in so deep, I couldn't get out
I sat on feelings that I buried deep down
I knew there come a day when our paths would cross
And I'm glad it's today 'cause now I am strong
I'm happy and I can thank myself
If it were up to you I'd be in my bed crying
But I'm happy, and I know that makes you sad
After all the things you put me through
I'm finally getting over you
I'm happy
I'm happy
There's a reason why we met and I'm glad that we did, yeah yeah
But when we broke up I got back a part of me I really missed
Not saying that you brought me down all the time
There were moments I lived without light on my side
I'm happy and I can thank myself
If it were up to you I'd be in my bed crying
But I'm happy and I know that makes you mad
After all the things you put me through
I'm finally getting over you
All the bitterness has passed
and I only wish you someone who can do what I can't
I'm happy and I can thank myself
If it were up to you I'd be in my bed crying
But I'm happy and I know that makes you mad
After all the things you put me through
I'm finally getting over you
I'm happy and I can thank myself
If it were up to you I'd be in my bed crying
But I'm happy and I know that makes you sad
After all the things you put me through
I'm finally getting over you

Banned on Tuition?? Don't you guys have better things to do?????
Ok, seriously,
the government is crazy.
Just yesterday, the government announce that they
would run a crackdown on tuition classes that were held by
school teachers.
The reason? They might fail to teach well in school
or some stupid reason.
Anyway, my problem isn't something to do with
no tuition, bad grades. I used to hate tuitions back when i was in school too.
My problem is, instead of putting up some bans and stuff on
tuition classes and fast food ads,
they should go after burglars and killers and crack addicts.
I mean, come on, a teacher's salary is about 3000,
how are you gonna survive with pay so low?
And it's not like they were doing illegal stuff like sniffing cracks
or making child porn or something.
They actually work hard to earn the money!
I personally knew of pair of tuition teachers (husband & wife)
who teaches well both in schools and tuition.
Thanks to both of them, i did well in my malays throughout my school years.
And what are they working so hard for?
To support their kids, the eldest of whom is venturing into medical school.
My grandpa was robbed twice by motorcycle gangs.
MALAYS. Yes, malays. But know what the cops ask my
grandpa when he was lodging a report?
They asked him if he was really sure that the gangs that robbed him
was indeed malays? And they asked in a very...unfriendly tone,
to put it mildly.
And worse yet, NO ACTIONS were taken.
Talk about good cop.
Gone were the days when the authorities care about people's safety and welfare
than how much "coffee money" (note: bribe) they'll get for the day.
And nowadays,
it seems the government cares more about making profits and stupid projects
that has no benefits to the people whatsoever (read: largest roti canai in the world)

Living the life.
Sometimes,
most of the times,
storms hit us,
but we ain't aware of it.
It took me a while,
to realize, the storm has landed on me.
Shattering what is of me.
But i fight it,
because i know,
for sure, that sunshine always
come after rain.
because i know,
i wanna keep walking in my life,
go on and on.
Now i'm fine,
now i'm well,
a brush with death,
is all it takes for me to realize,
living like you were dying,
sometimes, does helps.
And i will built a stronger wall,
to shield myself, from storms coming my way,
to live the day, the life, my life.
I wanna live,
and live on.
And one thing for sure,
i won't give up.
Harry Potter and The Deathy Hallows
Ok, brace up and hang on to that...er...broomstick of yours,
all ye' muggles and possibly witches and wizards out there,
The 7th and final installment is gonna come out SOON!!!!!!!!!!
I myself, a potter fan of the Potterverse,
pre-ordered the new book, and ot the normal one,
the super expensive (it cost me RM235)special edition of the book.
Yay!!!
I guess i must be crazy.
Lol!
July 21st, can't wait for that day to come!!!!
Pay It Forward
Sometimes The Simplest Idea Can Make The Biggest Difference.
When someone does you a big favor, don't pay it back... Pay It Forward
These are the 2 taglines from the 2001 movie entitled Pay It Forward,
starring Kevin Spacey, Helen Hunt and Haley Joel Osment.
Anyway,
the movie was inspired by a book written by Catherine Ryan Hyde.
WHAT IS “PAY IT FORWARD”?
“Pay It Forward” is a book written by Catherine Ryan Hyde, but it's also an idea. It's an action plan within a work of fiction. But does it have to be fiction? We're hoping not. In fact, since the book was released in January of 2000, a real-life social movement has emerged, not just in the U.S. but worldwide. What began as a work of fiction has already become much more.
Reuben St. Clair, the teacher and protagonist in the book “Pay It Forward,” starts a movement with this voluntary, extra-credit assignment: THINK OF AN IDEA FOR WORLD CHANGE, AND PUT IT INTO ACTION. Trevor, the 12-year-old hero of “Pay It Forward,” thinks of quite an idea. He describes it to his mother and teacher this way: "You see, I do something real good for three people. And then when they ask how they can pay it back, I say they have to Pay It Forward. To three more people. Each. So nine people get helped. Then those people have to do twenty-seven." He turned on the calculator, punched in a few numbers. "Then it sort of spreads out, see. To eighty-one. Then two hundred forty-three. Then seven hundred twenty-nine. Then two thousand, one hundred eighty-seven. See how big it gets?
So anyway, check out the movie,
and support the foundation by Paying It Forward!
Justin Lanning - Behind These Eyes
Just downloaded this incredible album by Justin Lanning, Behind These Eyes.
So, according to wikipedia.org, Justin is a vegetarian. He has two dogs, Spot and Vanilla. His favorite color is purple. He lives with his mother, Nansee Lanning. His favorite restaurants are Vegan Glory and iHOP. His favorite city is Amsterdam, in the song Without You he mentions Amsterdam.
Anyway, love his voice,
sounds a bit like Ryan Cabrera and Howie Day.
And the songs are all pretty catchy,
personal favorite is the 6th track, Waitin' On You,
a guitar driven ballad, about a person waiting on his lost love,
the loneliness and the pain.
Oooh, and the best part of this guy's voice is that, he doesn't
go over the top with his falsetto,
sound a lil' husky, and he's cute, bit like Jesse McCartney,
except he doesn't sound annoying like Jesse.
Haha... Sorry, Jesse's fans.
Oh, and check out his Vlog via Youtube.
Just look for Justin's World, most of which about how he save the world or whatever.
Of driving test and lessons...>.<
Yay!!!!
Just wanna share the great news that i
passed my driving test!!!!
Although i hit the pole,
and the stupid engine kept dying on me.
But whatever, i got my "P" license now!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hilary Duff - Stranger
This song and video sure reminds me of how my relationship with my ex was.
I was the one to be blame all the time. He's always the Mr. Perfect who does no wrong.
Glad it's in the past.
My Parents - The Cheapskate Workaholic
My parents, especially my mom is one heck of a cheapskate.
Know how much money they made last year? more than half a million, and
that doesn't include all the share profits, rental income etc...
It's 2 months till i'm going abroad, yet they were so cheap they bought me
a brandless 3 piece suitcase from Carrefour for 99 bucks instead of the Camel Active
one i had my eyes on months ago.
Reason: 399 bucks = too expensive.
I mean, come on, my mom was known fro her bad case of handbags fetish. Just 'bout a month ago, she spent 5000 something on a teeny lil' Luis Vuitton tote of which she never use but store in her glass case instead.
Besides the stupid bag, my parents bought en of thousands worth of jeweleries, a 500k bungalow, tons of shoes, clothes, bags and stuff.
Yet, they complain a 30 bucks paperback novel is too expensive. They even freaked out when i spent 100 bucks pre-ordering the limited edition Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows.
Anyway, the suitcase is just one of the many old stuff i asked her to upgrade 'em for me.
My Laptop, cellphone, mp3 player, wallet etc. She even ask me to buy my winter clothes when i reach Taiwan, on one conditions, if the weather there is real cold. Else, there's no need splurging on sweater, coats, beanie, earmuffs. See how cheap they are?
Being cheapskates is beside the point, these few days, although i'm with my parents 24/7, seems they were more concern over who owe them money and who's tax haven't been calculated than whatever i say. And even worse, we arrive at their office early in the morning, around 7, and will only go home around 8pm! The home we live in sure feels more like a motel than a home.
Poor Cole and Dylan (my pet mini green tortoises), sometimes i'm just so tired, i forgot to change wash their tank, feed them or play with them.
So, welcome to my crazy life, filled with a set of cheapskate workaholic parents.
