Heartache...pt.2

My vain attempt in sucking up my pride and apologize
ended in a huge catastrophe.

Man, it sucks.

On the bright side,
i was elected the new president for the ELL Department Student Alliance,
and everything goes really well with my LGBT Society plan.

New Year....So?

A couple days till a new page is flip,
and i'll be marching in the 20's of my life.

Man, i yearn to grow up so much when i was 15,
but now, all these growing up seems tiring and not what i've expected.

Lately, there's a teeny bit in me that senses the creeping back of
my arc nemesis, Depression.

I tried to fight it,
but with no avail. All the chaos and commotion binding me is making me sick.

Not to mention,
all the responsibilities circulating me. Pulling me, dragging me.

First Ever LGBT Student Support Group In Eastern Taiwan

Ok,
this plan kinda pop into my head after i had a chat with a senior
and some LGBT volunteers in Taipei,
and felt there's a need to form a society comprising of LGBT or LGBT supporters,
due to the lack of resources on the LGBT issues and help/support groups here in the eastern continent.

So, my idea is,
the whole point will be about educating people about the LGBT scene...
topics on AIDS, coming out, safe sex etc will be cover.

As for now, i'm still drafting a report for the school. Might take me a few weeks or months.
Hope the idea will come true...

Heartache

My heart, ache so much.
Not since the breakup 3 years ago,
the back stabs 2 years ago,
the fight with my friend last year,
that i had felt so down.

It hurts,
it really does.

The arrow of guilt always
penetrate my already fragile esteem.

At this point,
there isn't really any ground left for me to stand for myself.

Do i still care?

no.

Taylor Swift & Colby Caillat - Breathe

I see your face in my mind as I drive away,
Cause none of us thought it was gonna end that way.
People are people,
And sometimes we change our minds.
But it’s killing me to see you go after all this time.

Mmm mmm mmm
Mmm mmm mmm mmm mmm
Mmm mmm mmm
Mmm mmm mmm mmm mmm

Music starts playin’ like the end of a sad movie,
It’s the kinda ending you don’t really wanna see.
Cause it’s tragedy and it’ll only bring you down,
Now I don’t know what to be without you around.

And we know it’s never simple,
Never easy.
Never a clean break, noone here to save me.
You’re the only thing I know like the back of my hand,
And I can’t,
Breathe,
Without you,
But I have to,
Breathe,
Without you,
But I have to.

Never wanted this, never wanna see you hurt.
Every little bump in the road I tried to swerve.
But people are people,
And sometimes it doesn’t work out,
Nothing we say is gonna save us from the fall out.

And we know it’s never simple,
Never easy.
Never a clean break, no one here to save me.
You’re the only thing I know like the back of my hand,
And I can’t,
Breathe,
Without you,
But I have to,
Breathe,
Without you,
But I have to.

It’s two a.m.
Feelin' like I just lost a friend.
Hope you know it’s not easy,
Easy for me.
It’s two a.m.
Feelin’ like I just lost a friend.
Hope you know this ain’t easy,
Easy for me.

And we know it’s never simple,
Never easy.
Never a clean break, noone here to save me.

Ohhh

I can’t,
Breathe,
Without you,
But I have to,
Breathe,
Without you,
But I have to.

Sorry (oh) Sorry (mmm)
Sorry (eh eh) Sorry (mmm)
Sorry (eh eh) Sorry (mmm)
Sorry

~Merry Christmas~

A Merry Christmas to all my friends and family...

Everything We Had

You were the only face I'd ever known.
I was the light from the lamp on the floor,
and only as bright as you wanted me to be.
But, I am no gentleman, I can be a prick,
and I do regret more than I admit.
You have been followed back to the same place I sat with you drink for drink.
Take the pain out of love and then love won't exist.

Everything we had, everything we had,
everything we had, everything we had is no longer there.

It was the only place I'd never known.
Turned off the light on my way out the door.
I will be watching wherever you go,
through the eyes of a fly on the wall.
You have been followed back to the same place I sat with you drink for drink.
Take the pain out of love and then love won't exist.

Everything we had, everything we had,
everything we had, everything we had is no longer there, longer there.

You saw for yourself, the way it played out.
For you, I am blinded.
For you, I am blinded, for you.

I am no gentleman, I can be a prick.
And I do regret more than I admit.
You have been followed back to the same place I sat with you drink for drink.
Take the pain out of love and then love won't exist.

Everything we had, everything we had,
everything we had, everything we had.
Everything we had, everything we had,
everything we had...

I'll be with you wherever you go,
through the eyes of a fly on the wall.

Dedicate this to a dear friend.

Chorus...and the rest of the cast, I LOVE YA'LL!!!

Taipei Trip with Wei Ping and Alex

Taken at the Dataran Merdeka of Taiwan...what is Dataran Merdeka in English again...?

Me and Wei Ping had so much fun browsing through...*ahem*, sex toys and porn. LOL!!!
The exterior view of the National Taiwan Theater.
What a coincidence!!! Bump into Mr. Tan Sui Eng, our form 5 Bahasa Melayu (Malay) Teacher on our way to the Chiang Kai Shek Memorial Hall
Me looking demure and dazed...as usual. That's Wei Ping, probably cursing me for not taking her to Taipei 101. LOL!
Me inside the great hall which house the famous statue of Chiang Kai Shek
Me outside Chiang Kai Shek Memorial Hall
Me and Alex at the front gate of the National Taiwan Science and Technology University. We were there for an interpretation contest, which we didn't win, but heck, we had fun. I mean, how easy could a topic about WTO, Business and Economics could be? You try it if you think it's easy.

Late Congrats to the success of the 1st ever ELL Drama Performance!!

Alexandra Burke - Hallelujah

This is the finals performance of the current title holder of UK X-Factor, 20 years old Alexandra Burke from Islington, London.

Her rendition of the classic- Hallelujah, is perfect in every sense, even better than Jeff Buckley's version, and i believe more than 105,000 Britons and Europeans agree with me since the single became the fastest selling single in a span of 24 hours, surpassing Leona Lewis's winning song - A Moment Like This.

Split right down the middle over language

PUTRAJAYA: There are as many advocates as there are detractors to the teaching of Science and Mathematics in English.

Deputy Education Minister Datuk Dr Wee Ka Siong said participants were free to speak their mind.

“This is why we are here ... we are listening to the views of all stakeholders,” he said after chairing the ministry’s fifth roundtable discussion on the teaching of Science and Mathematics in English.

Senator Lee Chee Keong from MCA said the party wanted Science and Mathematics to be taught in the mother tongue in primary schools.

“The statistics show that very few students in Chinese primary schools are answering in English. In fact only 2.86% answered in English for Science and 1.29% for Maths,” he said.

He said this showed students were either not able to understand or unable to answer in English. At the same time, Lee said there should be more English periods in schools in order to ensure students were not left behind.

“Students should be able to study the two subjects in English at secondary-school level,” he said.

Deputy Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department Datuk S.K. Devamany said the MIC did not have an official stand on the issue yet.

“We want to get stakeholders to put forward their views before we make a stand,” he said during a break at the ministry’s fifth roundtable discussion.

He said the MIC education bureau had met Tamil school headmasters and those from the teaching fraternity, adding that the feedback received was mixed.

Devamany, who is an MIC central working committee member, said the party planned to meet with parents next.

“Parents have the right to decide what they want for their children,” he said.

Parent Action Group for Education (PAGE) chairman Noor Azimah Abd Rahim said it represented parents in both urban and rural areas who wanted the subjects to continue being taught in English.

“As parents, we feel that the students’ English will improve if the policy is able to continue. It will also give students a competitive edge,” she said.

Dong Zong (United Chinese School Committees’ Association of Malaysia) chief administrative officer Kuang Hee Pang said the ministry must be clear on whether it was English or Science and Mathematics which was important.

“Students should be able to use the mother tongue to study the two subjects,” he said.

I agree with neither. Plans like this should be implement AFTER a thoroughly planning YEARS before being carry out. It's wrong to say, "Oh, wait, let's teach science and mathematics in English" and carry out the plan immediately after the statement. It took years in the 70's for the whole education system to make the transition from English to Malay, and now they want to change again? I wonder what the hell is on their mind. It's been 5 years...or was it six, i lost count, since the plan to make the transition began, and throughout the span of these 5-6 years, the cabinet itself wasn't even sure WHAT they want at all, changing plans every other day.

Like i said, there's a serious problem with the education system of Malaysia. It's not only flawed, it's corrupted.

"THE lack of preparation, including having teachers who are not proficient in English, has foiled the Government’s plan to train students who are good in Mathematics and Science, said Utusan Malaysia.

In its editorial, the daily said the problem had also resulted in students who were “lucky” enough to benefit from the teaching of the two subjects in English.

“The main objective of implementing this policy is to train students who are talented in the two subjects while improving their English.

“However, we do not want the policy to only include students from urban areas while those in the rural areas, especially Sabah and Sarawak, do not benefit from it,” it said.

The daily said the round-table discussion, which was held yesterday, must provide substantial evidence to show that the policy was able to improve the students’ competency in the two subjects.

It said that if relevant parties believed that it was still not the right time to implement the policy, they would have to clearly explain the reasons.

“The decision on whether to continue implementing the policy should not be taken lightly as it will affect the future of the education industry.

“A small mistake can affect the life of the rakyat, especially those who are marginalised and deprived of various facilities,” it said."

To say that YOU'RE pathetic is an understatement.

Iris, you're a pathetic snake.
You latch on people who has the benefits that you seek,
and back stab those who prove no use to you.

You talk non-stop when Mr. Chen Kuo Shi and i are having lunch together,
all the crap about classes, lessons, and your "genius" views on...well, practically everything.
While Mr. Chen shush you,
you just couldn't shut your potty mouth.

I really feel like dumping my rice onto your smug poker face.
So pretentious and devilish.
Act as if you're my best friend in the whole world by calling me up every second and im-ing me non-stop before exams, think i'm stupid?

Prepare to taste my fist if you were to sneak by the table and blabber non-stop about your crap and future plans. Even Mr. Chen is thoroughly annoyed by you.

Leave us alone, you pathetic skank.

CIAO

It's a bit late for me to post this...i guess,
but i still feel there's a need to promote (without request) this film,
a touching gay-theme drama directed by fellow Malaysian Yen Tan.

Mr. Tan, if you happen to read this,
i'd like you to know how grateful i am for your kind email.
I will definitely be buying the DVD, or if it were to be screen, i'll definitely hit the theater.

Here's the summary obtained from the official facebook of Yen Tan.
CIAO beautifully explores the difficult path to accepting loss amidst the hope of new beginnings. This somber and touching modern love story focuses on the incidental friendship between two strangers living in two different parts of the world. Their connection is sparked by the unexpected loss of a mutual friend, Mark. When Jeff (Adam Neal Smith) is left in charge of handling Mark’s possessions and tying up loose ends he stumbles upon one of Mark’s email conversations with Mark’s online Italian romance, Andrea (Alessandro Calza, who also co-wrote the screenplay) and must tell him the bad news. With a trip already booked, Andrea decides to come and learn more about his recently departed friend. What begins as a tragedy that links two strangers from different ends of the world becomes a deeply realized friendship that may change their lives forever.

Insomnia...Again....And...zzz?

Man, i really feel like killing myself right this very moment.

Stupid insomnia.

I need some sleeping pills,
but...are they legal here in Taiwan?

Gosh.

By the way, 2 days till the debut of The Googling of Cupid and Psyche.
Go ELL!

I was honored to be able to help out on the pronunciation of the actors.
Man, can't wait to see the fruit of our hard labor. (Yes, u heard me, it's labor.)

Recap of Heroes: Dual (the last episode of Volume 3: Villains)

Opening Narration:

"On the sixth day, God created Man in his own image. Now it’s up to us to figure it all out. Right... wrong… good… evil. In each of us is the capacity to decide what drives our actions. So what is it, then, that makes some choose selflessness, the need to devote themselves to something greater, while others know only self-interest, isolating themselves in a world of their own making? Some seek love, even if unrequited, while others are driven by fear and betrayal. There are those who see their choices as dark proof of God’s absence while others follow a path of noble destiny. But in the end, good, evil, right or wrong… what we choose is never what we really need. For that is the ultimate cosmic joke. The real gift that God has left behind.
"

- Ando injected himself with THE FORMULA, and gained a power-Power Augmentation.
- Hiro got back to the present.
- Meredith died because she was injected by adrenaline, causing her pyrokinesis power to go out of control and exploded herself.
- Nathan is the new villain.
- Mohinder recovers.
- Peter got his powers back.
- Echo, Flint, Doyle, Knox, all died at the showdown between Sylar and HRG.
- The hunt for gifted people begins on the next volume, entitled "FUGITIVES"

OMFG!!!
I couldn't wait any longer!!! Damn, i have to wait until mid-February.
Sigh...

Here are some theories regarding the upcoming volume.

  • The title refers to the hunting of the heroes by the government as lead by the President and Nathan.
  • The title refers to The Hunter.
  • The government finds out about the evolved humans. And they are ready to take some actions by bagging and tagging them one by one.
  • The Kill Squad will show up in this Season, murdering all the evolved humans, one at a time, causing them to be Fugitives.
  • Harry Fletcher will show up, revealing his fake death.
  • More will be revealed about the Company founders in this volume.
  • The title refers to a worldwide knowledge of the evolved humans and the danger of a terrorist attack by them is now.
  • The title may refer to a speech by the President who calls the heroes a clear and present danger to the world, which would tie into the Season Four being named "Fugitives."
  • The title may also refer to the novel "A Clear and Present Danger," by Tom Clancy.
  • Monica and Micah will return. They are present in the scene when Paulette Hawkins was killed by the Kill Squad. Since the event, they've been the next target of the group, making them "fugitives" on the run. Micah's picture is seen in a portfolio of people with abilities in a scene between Nathan and the President when they are discussing what action to take regarding these people.
  • The title refers to something that has been in Heroes since the start of Season 1 and has only just become clear in this episode.
  • The title refers to Angela's Team.
  • Simone will return, alive, with the power of cloning, revealing that the Simone that died in Unexpected was actually one of her clones because she was warned of her upcoming death —possibly by Angela who saw it in a dream — and was captured by the government and used for testing, trying to use her blood to make soldiers clone themselves to make a massive army.
  • Nathan will be the president of the US throughout Volume 4
  • "A Clear and Present Danger" refers to the legal circumstances in which a police officer may use their firearm.
  • Peter's powers will grow back to rival his former strength when united with all the Heroes on the plane as he absorbs their collection of powers.
  • Angela removed the piece of glass from Sylar's head before leaving Primatech, trying to regain his trust for the upcoming challenges.

Damn

I was pissed when i learned the fact that i didn't win the vocab contest held last week.
Heck, i spent a hundred on taxi fare!!!
F***!!!!!!!!!!!!

What's worst is that the 2 person i loathe most actually won the third prize!
That sent me to the edge.
Maybe i was a bit too tired and too caught up with the whole drama thing,
and that migraine,
not to mentioned my unstable emotion due to my spat with "someone" the previous night.

Man, i really gotta get back to my form.
Hell, this dude (me, duh!) who scored 714 in his SAT English paper is not someone you'd wanna mess with!

Do i care about some measly, stupid, elementary level questions?
Of course not. I am, and always will be meant for bigger things.

I'm cool.
But if i don't get the first prize for the upcoming ones next semester,
i'll definitely go on a rampage.

Now, back to my preparation for the interpretation contest this Saturday in
NTSU (National Taiwan Science University).

I'm just a little off my form that day.
None of ya'll morons would wanna mess with the Wyatt in top shape...brain-wise.

Excellent poems...found on toilet doors and walls

Excellent poems by not so famous poets... found on toilet doors and walls..........

A budding poet trying his best...

Here I lie in stinky vapor,
Because some bastard stole the toilet paper,
Shall I lie, or shall I linger,
Or shall I be forced to use my finger.

Before he graduated to be a poet, he wrote this...

Here I sit
Broken hearted
Tried to shit
But only farted

Someone who had a different experience wrote,

You're lucky
You had your chance
I tried to fart,
And shit my pants!

Perhaps it's true that people find inspiration in
toilets.

I came here
To shit and stink,
But all I do
Is sit and think.

There are also people who come in for a different
purpose...

Some come here to sit and think,
Some come here to shit and stink,
But I come
here to scratch my balls ,
And read the bullshit on the walls...

Toilets walls also double as job advertisement
space.......

(written high upon the wall)
If you can piss above this line, the Singapore Fire
Department wants you.

Ministry of Environment advertisement.

We aim to please!
You aim too! Please

On the inside of a toilet door:

Patrons are requested to remain seated throughout the
entire performance.

And finally, this should teach some a lesson...
Sign seen at a restaurant:

The hands that clean these toilets also make your
food...please aim properly.

Declaration of a Shattered Glass

You are the one who declared the end.
It ain't me.

Whatever coming out of me,
you drop it
and ignore it.

It all fell into deaf ears.

Whatever.

I am tired as well.

There are no real choices laid out for us in life, we either embrace them, or loathe them.
That is, possibly, the only choices we have.
I chose to embrace the choice, long ago, with an open mind.
It turn around and bit me on the ass.

It is then, i chose to loosen my grip.

You said you're tired now, and u couldn't wait to let the entire world know.
I, in contrary, was tired long ago.

Seriously!

I'm had it with all the crap put forth at me.

People here adore me!
I don't give a damn on those skanks not liking me.

Irrepressible Binge & Insomnia

Lately, i've been putting on weight due to stress and never ending stuff to do.
Well, more or less their fault...and my out of control appetite.

Since October, i've been having supper every single night, weather i'm really hungry or otherwise,
and my lack of work out make things worse.

Man, there goes (or back) the 9kg that i worked so hard to lose last semester.

Aside from my too much binging, i've also been having a really bad case of insomnia ever since the mid terms. I can't even make myself go to sleep before 3a.m., no matter how tired i am.

Dang, my life's a big pile of messy turd.

One Week Till Debut: THE GOOGLING OF CUPID AND PSYCHE

The video embedded above is the promotional trailer for the very first full length drama performance by the graduating class. Only one week till the day of the debut.

We all work so hard, and we've come this far,
The entire cast and crew who are so passionately involved in the whole TGOC&P project, congrats on the great work! Let's sprint for the final lap.

ELL, once again, we're definitely the best!!!!

Official Site: http://www.blogger.com/post-create.g?blogID=19789440

The Googling of Cupid and Psyche

The poster for the play.

The dude with the "i'm too cool" pose is Dean, who, despite MIA due to Basketball tournament, caught up with us really fast. A great dude no less.

Me, Alex (a great gal who is snack-generous and sweet), Kevin (a freshman dude whom i grow really fond of), Eva (the hilarious team leader), and Sandy (the bubbly gal with great leadership quality and a tendency to laugh when staring at me).

The Responsible, yet occasionally wacky leader of CHORUS, Eva Wu. She's the life and soul of the whole team.

There's a reason why i love CHORUS so much. Sure, we have deadlines to meet, and lines to finish, as well as other stuff. But, one thing set the whole cast and crew apart from a CERTAIN society is that the whole atmosphere. It's always warm, filled with laughter and joy. Never once i loath and regret sacrificing my time snuggling in the dorm for practice.

Thank you, all the team members of CHORUS, thank you Eva, Alex, Sandy, Kevin, Dean and not to forget, Kiki, for being such great friends to me, the rest of the cast and crew of the whole project, thank you all for being so nice and friendly to me, i love ya'll, and last but not least, thank you, Juby, for your faith in me and allow me the opportunity of being part of the whole project.

ELL, only one week to go, we're the best, and we'd definitely shine on our debut.
Go, ELL!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The Portrait of A Sorrow Wyatt

It's December. The month i've always been looking forward to...at least until now.

I used to love the winter season,
but this particular winter gimme chills of sorrow and the feeling of depress.
Sure, things have been going great with my drama thing (yeah, i'm one of the chorus members of a play by the graduating class), me winning numerous contests, and the upcoming interpretation contest which will definitely got me busy. But still, i couldn't shake off this feeling inside me, like there's something missing.

I've been having insomnia since the mid terms, i know i'm tired, but i just couldn't bring myself to sleep. Sigh... But, despite the feeling of emptiness, there's a special "atmosphere" after midnight that i grew to aquainted. The quietness, the occasional stirs outside, the cool breeze on my feet...makes a great cmbination for me to concentrate more on my assignments and translation job.

Christmas is coming...along with New Year. Hope that, a new year would bring a fresh start to my messy life.

Race Issues, again.

Apparently, the Bayan Baru Umno Youth division has lodged a police report against Penang Deputy Chief Minister P. Ramasamy over his alleged remarks that Malays dominated the state civil service.

Uh, what about the remarks that moron in Bukit Bendera,
who, i'm too disgusted to even name him,
who refuses to apologize to the Chinese people for his racially infused remarks a few months ago?

Muslims are banned from Yoga? WTF??

Ok, seriously, the Malaysian Government has got to stop acting like a fool.
I mean, really? Muslim women who practices Yoga is illegal according to their stupid religious law because those women might convert into Hinduism???

How many people who practices Yoga you know who convert themselves into Hinduism?
Besides, does Yoga has anything to do, at all with Hinduism??
Most people practice it as a form of work out or health related purposes,
but, the "too-much-time-on-their-hands" Malaysian Government just couldn't stop from making a huge deal out of it.

Man, Kerajaan Malaysia apa pun boleh buat ya?
Well, Malaysia Boleh ma.

Read the following piece of news article, if you understand Malay. I'm pissed even by the sight of it. Lelaki Lembut? Fuck them.

Fatwa status yoga tetap dikeluar, tiada sebarang masalah - Jakim

Winter

The weather's getting cold.
Guess it is winter.

Time to flip out my Marc Jacobs scarf.
Well...maybe a few more days.

Mid-terms' over, time for a change.

Starting from tomorrow,
i'll be...

focusing on my drama rehearsal
study more
focus on ISC Club craps
focusing more on practicing swimming
focusing on my storytelling competition.

New life, i guess.

No more mr. nice Wyatt.
Mr. Wyatt will be extremely busy,
and won't give a damn on the lives of others.

Friends you say?
What the hell does "friend" mean at all?
They just leave you, or make you leave them.

Being alone has its ups,
i guess. No noise buzzing around me,
i can do more stuff, and focus more on myself.

Delete (The previous post and my stupid naive thinking)

I've deleted the previous post, in case anyone is wondering, due to the strong nature of words.
Sometimes, i guess it's better to keep EVERYTHING i feel to myself, because as per the perspectives of most people around me,
i am merely someone who they come to ask for help when they are in trouble but avoid when there aren't...or to annoy at their will.

I'm guessing...well, whenever i tried to express a little of my feelings, things would simply go bad to a giant explosion of word spats online.

Back to my hectic life,
keep myself a distance from people,
no one worth trusting around me,
i will ALWAYS be left alone.

I've learn, the hard way,
that i should keep things only to myself,
live on my life pretending to be someone or something else.

I'm P-A-T-H-E-T-I-C.

Najib = The next PM??

KUALA LUMPUR: Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak has won the Umno presidency unopposed, which sets him on track to becoming the country’s next Prime Minister.

He secured his 133rd nomination from the Cameron Highlands division yesterday evening and went on to pick even more nominations at the end of the day.

A candidate needs at least 58 of the 191 nominations to be eligible to contest.

By passing the 133 mark, he has denied any interested candidate the possibility of contesting because the person would not be able to secure the required 58 nominations.

This means that Tengku Razaleigh Hamzah, who received his first nomination for the presidency on Saturday from his own Gua Musang division, is out in the cold.

Other than Gua Musang, all other divisions that have met have given their nomination to Najib for the party’s top post.

The current party president, Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi, announced last month that he would not defend his party post and would hand over the reins of power to his successor, who he said he hoped would be Najib.

Najib has to win the party presidency to succeed Abdullah as Prime Minister. By convention in the Barisan Nasional Government, the Umno president is Prime Minister.

As at 10.30pm, Najib’s tally was 140.

Other than Cameron Highlands, the Deputy Prime Minister picked up nominations yesterday from Teluk Kemang, Tawau, Ayer Hitam, Tanjung Malim, Batu Kawan, Segamat, Sekijang, Tampin, Kuala Pilah, Balik Pulau, Kapar, Indera Mahkota, Bentong, Puchong, Kulim Bandar Baru, Labuan, Klang, Teluk Intan, Kota Raja, Kota Belud, Pandan and Muar.

Najib’s victory was expected. And this has made the contest for the deputy presidency all the more interesting. Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin is the favourite and still the lone candidate to qualify.

However, the other two aspirants for the post, Datuk Seri Mohd Ali Rustam and Tan Sri Muhammad Muhammad Taib, are edging closer to the eligibility mark.

The Malacca Chief Minister, who is also an Umno vice-president, has 32 nominations and needs only seven more to qualify, while the tally for the former Selangor mentri besar, who is also the party’s information chief, is 29.

A candidate for the deputy presidency needs 39 nominations to be eligible.

Interestingly, Ayer Hitam was the third division in Johor not to nominate Johorean Muhyiddin for the deputy presidency.

The former Johor mentri besar only got 25 votes against Mohd Ali’s whopping 310 votes for the nomination.

All divisions in Malacca nominated Mohd Ali for the deputy post, while in Selangor all divisions except for Shah Alam picked Muhammad.

Oh my freakin' God. If he's the next PM, well, we'll see about that.

I'd probably won't go back to Malaysia. Taiwan is a better place than the *ahem!* racist country.

Kousuke Atari 中 孝介 あたり こうすけ

After almost 3 months of release of the mega hit Taiwanese movie Cape No.7 [海角七號],
i finally get the chance to catch it on my pps stream system.

I got to say, this is the second Taiwanese movie since the heart wrenching Eternal Sunshine that made me bawl senseless.

Anyway, the point is, this guy who portrays the Japanese guy in the movie as well as the singer,
Kousuke Atari [中 孝介 あたり こうすけ], is like the biggest highlights of the movie. Not that he's super cute and all that, but his voice, singing that beautiful song called それぞれに that made me fall head over heels over him.

From the stuff that i manage to dug up about him, he seems to be famous for his signature "soul healing" voice, which, undeniably is really that, and divine as well as heavenly. Listening to his songs last night actually made me cry for no particular reasons, since i don't understand Japanese at all.

Do check him out.

US Debt Clock Runs Out Of Digits.

The US government's debts have ballooned so badly the National Debt Clock in New York has run out of digits to record the spiralling figure.

The digital counter marks the national debt level, but when that passed the $10 trillion point last month, the sign could not display the full amount.

The board was erected to highlight the $2.7 trillion level of debt in 1989.

The clock's owners say two more zeros will be added, allowing the clock to record a quadrillion dollars of debt.

Douglas Durst, son of the late Seymour Durst - the clock's inventor - hopes to replace the Manhattan clock with its lengthier replacement early next year.

For the time being, the Times Square counter's electronic dollar sign has been replaced with the extra digit required.

For its part, the digital dollar symbol has been supplanted by a cheaper version - perhaps a sign of the times for the American economy.

Some economists believe the $700bn bail-out plan for ailing US financial institutions could send the national debt level to $11 trillion.

Damn. And yet we thought the US is a gigantic goldmine.

Philips reveals 56-inch Quad Full 3D HDTV in Hollywood

On the slim chance that a 52-inch, no glasses needed full quad HDTV wasn't swank enough for you, Philips is one-upping itself at the Biz-Ex conference in Hollywood. This 56-inch monstrosity is hailed as a Quad Full Autostereoscopic 3D HDTV, which means that it packs a slightly absurd (in a good way, of course) 3,840 x 2,160 resolution and can churn through data at an alarming rate. Additionally, Philips is promising that this one can produce up to 46 views at once, which should go a long way in making the third-dimension a lot more believable on TV.

Yesterday, Philips unveiled these Quad Full Autostereoscopic 3D HD TVs (see pic below) at a 3D event in Hollywood, after years of development. Quad Full TVs push through data at such a fast rate that they increase a display’s screen resolution to a truly sick 3840x2160 (or 8.29 million pixels), four times the number of pixels of the highest HDTV standard.

That's important for 3D-focused screens, because the data speed and high resolution is a must to create believable, high-quality 3D images.

The large collection of pixels produce images take advantage of the same ol' right-left human optical trick, and its speed slaps the images together at once. This creates a large viewing angle (160 degrees) and a very high image contrast. Otherwise, the images wouldn't pop out of the screen -- they'd look transparent and uselessly weak.

There's no definitive release date just yet, but it'll probably run upwards of $25,000 whenever it's ready for prime time.

Selamat Hari Raya Aidilfitri

Selamat Hari Raya Aidilfitri!
Although i'm not a Muslim, i still wished that i was at home, celebrating with my Muslim friends,
amid all the chaos in the cabinet.

Still, i missed my ketupat, rendang, lemang, satay, kari etc..........

Josh Hoge

I bumped across this singer-songwriter whom i haven't really heard of before, other than he did a remake of the High School Musical hit; Breaking Free. Anyway, i downloaded his album and was surprised at how good he is on his material. Lead single, 360 is inspiring, but it is the song Stay Away which swept me off my feet, literally.

Check his album out if you're into artists like Jason Mraz, Gavin DeGraw and the likes. Most songs have this really chill out, old school vibe, and his sexy voice matches perfectly with the arrangements. I heard some of his songs were produced by Ne-yo and Ryan Tedder of OneRepublic.

Perfect companion for a cool, rainy day.
