Sacrifice/ Pain in the butt

Darn it,
due to all the darn activities...
i have no choice but to give up on participating in the
National Interpretation Competition in Kaoshiong...

Here's the list of stuff that made me give up on that precious competition.

1. Playing King Fortinbras of the Shakespeare play, Hamlet.
2. Playing King Lear of the Shakespeare play, King Lear.
3. The narrator for Wayang Kulit.
4. Figure out the recipe for a vegetarian curry flavored-chicken meat
fried rice (no garlic or onions! *GASP*!!!)
5. Work the Runway in traditional clothes (wish i could cover my face with a doggie bag).
6. Perform 4 songs in English, Chinese, Cantonese and Malay for the Folk Song event...
7. The stupid oral report for Chinese Philosophical Literature class. (Note, it's PHILOSOPHY AND LITERATURE!!!)
8. Aquatic sports day on the 14th...(sheesh, finally, i have no choice but to bare my torso...*shiver*)

1&2 being this week, for the English Language Week organized by my department, the damn rehearsal is killing me slowly, imagine, running back and forth between 2 campus!!! Besides being in the plays, i'll have to be the guide for our exhibition.......

3, 4, 5& 6 being for the International Cultural Week organized by the International Student Organization... Sigh.... That reminds me, i still haven't found the songs they want...

All that, and on top of that, i ain't feeling very well these few days. Sore throat, cough, runny nose. Partly because of my bad habit of not drinking enough water and partly because of the weird weather. It could be 29 degree celcius one day and 18 degree celcius just by one night.

There goes my once in a lifetime chance of competing in something outside the school.
Sigh...
