Winter is Coming
Hermes whisper...
"Hark! Winter's coming!"
Snow white gown,
sewn by the very Gods and Angels,
guided by the Goddess of handicrafts,
Pallas Athena...
Breath of chills,
that brings death that lead to life,
and the dead and revival of Persephone,
daughter of Demeter,
soul ferried to the land of death.
Her beauty,
so exquisite, air turns into tiny flowers of all
shapes, to celebrate her arrival.
All fauna dies,
for they waited for 9 months,
full of anxiety, and insomnia,
that lead to their eventual death.
Alas,
winter is here,
chilling all lives with her exquisite beauty,
though deadly, yet mark a new beginning,
for lives that is to come upon her leaving.

7.) Explaining all the Greek classic to my peers, over and over, and over, and over....again. (damn, i think i should ask for tuition over these charity works)

Leona Lewis - Bleeding Love
The official video of the song Bleeding Love
by UK's X-Factor second season winner Leona Lewis.
Quite a meaningful video.
Although i couldn't get if the video
and song is about praising abusive/distorted relationships
or the other way around.

A Very Pickler Christmas
Anyway, this a clip of Kelly Pickler desperately tryin' to figure out what to buy for Jay Leno's Christmas present back in Christmas 2005. So she went to New York city asking everyone on the street (literally) what should she get for Jay.
I know, Christmas is still one and a half month away, but Thanksgiving is drawing near.
So i thought i should kinda spice up some festive mood now.
Hahaha....
I love Kellie, she's so...ditzy and weirdly cute.
Although i hate her new hairstyle.

Apakah Yang Menjadikan Kita Anak Malaysia?
What makes us Malaysian.
MAS [Malaysia Airlines] Merdeka commercial.
Really, what makes us Malaysian.
To be frank, after 1/2 semester @ 2 months here,
the feelings of homesickness has becoming more and more excruciating.
I mean, yeah, for example,
Taiwanese are way polite than we Malaysians are. I mean, i still couldn't get use
to not hearing shouts of "Kopi Peng (iced coffee), Milo Peng (iced milo)etc.
You will be greet with a loud and polite "Welcome" the moment you step near the
shops. Even after you're done, they will bid you sincere thanks.
But being loud, a little yucky (duh, Malaysian restaurants reuse all their utensils)
and among others, but isn't that are the things that give us a really unique
personality?
Okay, i know i kinda posted something on how i hate the politics and
racism stuff in Malaysia, but by setting them aside,
there's the friendliness, the warm feeling of the weird "rojak (mashed up)"
language. Where in the world would you find a country where everyone speaks
in a language made up of up to 5 language? (Chinese, Malay, English, Hokkien, Canton)
Here's an example.
"Why you like that one?"
"Want to got to the mamak to get teh tarik? (Indian milk tea)"
"Lu punya anak pukul wa punya anak!"
"Mana eh ane kuan eh? Mai la, aiyo!"
"Amoi, ai beh roti mai?"
See, we Malaysians are unique in many ways.
It's what distinguished us from being stereotypes.
I see how Taiwanese are so proud at their own language,
they scrutinize my way of speaking. I even hurt my tongue trying to speak in a
fake Taiwanese accent.
Despite our occasional rudeness, strict religion values,
we are still Malaysian, and it is up to us to protect our unique styles and ways of living.
(I know the post sounds crappy since i post this on a slightly chilly, sleepy afternoon. Sorry about that.)
Sophie Monk poses naked to promote vegetarianism
Australian pop singing sensation and actress Sophie Monk is as compassionate as she is beautiful. That's why she jumped at the opportunity to speak up for animals by shedding her clothes and posing nude in a bed of chili peppers alongside the tagline "Spice Up Your Life—Go Vegetarian" in one of PETA's sexiest vegetarian PSAs to date.
As a longtime vegetarian, Sophie wants fans to know that giving up meat is one of the best things you can do to "spice up your life." Eating a diet of vegetarian foods will give you more energy, help you stay trim, and improve blood flow to all of your body organs.
"If you are going to take your clothes off for something, it better be a good cause," says Sophie in her interview with PETA. And a good cause it is! Going vegetarian will not only help spice up your own life, it's the best thing you can do to help the environment and save billions of animals from suffering in factory farms.

Busy, tired, cranky, BAD GRAMMAR!!
I've been so busy and cranky lately
all i could think of is chew on
lots and lots of Pringles that make my
belly swell up like a huge balloon.
Seriously, binge on at least one whole
tube of carbs everyday isn't the best
way to look good. Now i have to suck in
my breath just so i can fit in to my
jeans. Geez...
And not to mention the source of all the
excessive binge, the mid terms.
I thought it'd be a piece of cake,
and believe me, it was, and still is,
just all the stupid questions MOST of my
classmates hurled at me made me question
myself if i truly am prepared.
For example, i got so tired of
a couple zillion questions on
THE EPIC OF GILGAMESH
i myself am now confuse on the plot
of the poem. Why can't they just Google
the interpretation of the poem up themselves?!
And all the stupid grammar lessons
actually helps in making my grammar
from bad to worst. I mean, i never really
care about those grammar stuff,
all i do was using my own instincts,
like if it sounds right,
it's always right.
Things changed ever since i was forced
to read all the grammar crap.
I nearly fainted yesterday after getting
back my assignment on paragraph
writing. All the red inks smeared across
the sheet makes the A on top of the paper
seems worth a pile of shit.
Well, whatever, hope i won;t lost my
mojo on my English prowess, since that's
like the only thing i'm really proud of.
Oh, well, working on my Feminism project now.
Why do women dress up? And does the physical
appearancesit really matters?
Oh, and Mythology too!
Apparently Apollo is bisexual,
and that Zeus is a monster.
All the greek romance makes me
wanna puke.
Ah, and then there's classical
literature! Sheesh, Epic of Gilgamesh,
The Iliad, The Odyssey...
My life is filled with never ending
crap from centuries ago.
Hey, if the Greeks invented all the
myths, does it mean that
the future generation might have to
study Pokemon, Final Fantasy etc????
