I went to the wet market with my mom this morning
and saw some (ack! gruesome!!) cuttings and killings.
Some dude were killing some frog like thingie...
called "tien ji" in Chinese.
Supposedly they're some kinda frog.
From what i just saw, they're huge with big beady eyes..
But what made me puke (the Jawa Noodle i had this morning)
was the sight of the dude killing off the frogs.
It was even worst than when i dissected the huge mice
last year.
Below is the description of the frog in Chinese..
By the way, Happy Birthday Malaysia.

Happy 50th Birthday, Malaysia
Happy 50TH B'day, Malaysia.
We are definitely "boleh",
but the parties managing the country should learn how to be
more open minded and fair to all the races.
All of us help built the country,
no more, no less.
Let us remember that despite all the double standards imposed on
different races, everyone are equal in this country.
It's time for the government to grow up.
Advance in technology and infrastructural aspect doesn't mean we developed.
The mindset is the most important aspects.
All in all,
i am, indeed, proud of being a child of Malaysia.
Gay have to speak like...Gay?
I found a couple of gay theme (not dirty) blogs today,
which i really enjoy reading.
What really irks me is that why the heck they speak (ok, maybe they WRITE)
in a way...like...i dunno...promiscuous maybe, too queer i guess.
I mean, the words "darling", "honey", "dear" etc...
I mean, even my grandma doesn't call me "dear" that much.
Please, people, no offense,
i am gay, but i don't act all out just to prove i am one.
My friends were very surprise when i came out 2 years ago,
they said the only thing that gives me away is that i really hate sports.
And that i don't ogle on girls boobs or butts.
But anyhow, i guess being true to yourself is what matters most.
5 days countdown
So, a few days countdown till i leave home for Taiwan,
and there i was, trying to cram as much clothes as possible into the freaking giant suitcase.
I mean, who knew leaving home for a couple months would be so much hassles?
The last time i ever packed this much clothes, was a couple years ago, when
i went off to San Francisco to spent my year end school holidays.
I got so pissed by dragging the damn suitcase,
i gave up and told my mom i'll just bring a couple piece of clean underwear
and i'l simply buy anything i need there since Uncle Jared has no qualms
swapping his card for his favorite nephew. HAHA....
So, here i am,
wondering if i should just throw everything away,
(what about the pile of 600 bucks Giordano stuff i bought that day...??)
but this time, no one's there to swipe his card for me.
Sob...sob...
I may sound like a spoilt brat,
but not that i don't wanna get down and dirty to wash them myself
(hey, they have washing machines in the dorm with the coin slot thingie)
i'm just too freaking lazy to drag a humongous bag along.
Not to mention the huge stack of paperbacks i bought last week,
and all the brick bracks (chargers of all shapes and sizes, mp3 player, laptop, etc...etc...)
Sigh...
Oooh... gotta go polish my teeth now...
ahem, appointment with the old dentist who charge too much,
and spit whenever he curse.
Sheesh... My life.
And i'm trying to download as much tv shows i can,
but the stupid gigasize file sharing site is so freaking slow.
Torrent is even worst.
Or maybe it's TM-Net. Heard they capped torrent or something,
and i have no idea how to configure port forwarding.
Ok, gotta go.
Bad grammar
I was reviewing my posts and was nearly fainted
due to all the grammatical mistakes.
OMG, i think i really should stop typing on my
zinc, since i never bother to read whatever i typed...
Guilty, this post included, i mean,
typed with the teeny lil' qwerty keyboard on my zinc...
Sigh... Sorry guys if there's too many grammar mistakes.

Taliban WILL free Korean Hostages.
I'm really glad those Taliban people decided to free the remaining hostages.
My prayer goes out to the 2 who were murdered.
Damned those cruel Talibans.
Shouts In Parliament...
Barisan Nasional MPs led shouts of ‘Merdeka!’ seven times in the Dewan Rakyat this morning - and then shouted at their opposition counterparts for not having participated in this with patriotic fervour.
Backbenchers Club president Raja Ahmad Zainuddin Raja Omar (BN-Larut) led the commemoration of Independence at the start of proceedings.
He read a speech about the 50th anniversary of Merdeka before imitating founding father Tunku Abul Rahman’s declaration of ‘Merdeka’ in 1957 at Stadium Merdeka.
Not long afterwards, Mohd Said Yusof (BN-Jasin) labelled DAP MP “traitors” for not having joined in.
Parliamentary Opposition leader Lim Kit Siang, who rose to defend his colleagues, stressed that they would have joined in, had they been given prior notice about the plan.
"It happened without notice. We were caught by surprise as we did not know what was happening," he said.
His explanation only fuelled a commotion between Mohd Said, Badruddin Amirulddin (BN-Jerai), Bung Mokhtar Radin (BN-Kinabatangan) and Mohd Aziz (BN-SRi Gading) on one side and DAP MPs on the other.
Lim then chipped in: “This is out of order. We want to protest. They are demeaning and cheapening the 50th independence celebration. They have to withdraw their accusation. This is a baseless accusation!”
Speaker Ramli Ngah Talib was ignored when he ordered an end to the spat, which instead developed into a free for all.
Mohd Said: Let's hope that our students do not follow the example shown by them (DAP MPs).
Badruddin: If they do, Malaysia will be doomed.
Lim: He (Mohd Said) has to withdraw his statement that we are not patriotic. It is a baseless accusation.
Jasin: I will not withdraw it. Siapa makan cili dialah yang akan rasa pedas (a Malay proverb referring to the guilty).
Chong Eng (DAP-Bukit Mertajam): We should not let this happen in Parliament, Tan Sri (Speaker). His (Mohd Said) words are very contentious.
Mohd Said: We too didn’t receive any notice. But because we are patriotic, we responded.
In a bid to restore calm, Ramli ruled that "what was said by Mohd Said does not necessarily mean that the opposition MPs are unpatriotic", but it did not appease the DAP.
Kulasegaran (DAP-Ipoh Barat): How long more you want to do this, Tan Sri? Why one rule for us and one rule for them?
'Follow procedures'
Met in the lobby later, Lim was still upset about the incident.
"They (BN MPs) have demeaned, cheapened and degraded Parliament," he said, adding that Raja Ahmad's move to read a speech from a prepared text shows that this had been planned ahead.
"We would have agreed if we had been given prior notice. Why must they spring this on us (and take us by) surprise?"
Lim noted that procedures have to be followed for everything done in the House.
"They should have moved a motion, debated it and obtained the consent of all the MPs first."
Instead, he added, they tried to exploit the situation for the sake of political propaganda.
This goes to show how narrow minded and childish
our government parties are.
I mean, they should have issue some notice prior to whatever
stupid stuff they were about to scream on like a bunch of morons....right?
And i thought the Parliament was suppose to be a sacred place to discuss on stuffs
that matters to the people. Hello, in case they haven't got the notice,
they should be sacked or kick out.
Geez... Our country. Tsk... Tsk...
A few days till i fly...
Less than a week till i leave this country,
and i'm getting more and more nervous by day.
Geez... I feel like somethings coming up.
Urgh... gonna puke...
I eat like a pig when i'm nervous.
Sheesh..

Who Defines A Male?
Who Defines A Male?
Zofeen Ebrahim, Inter Press News, 21 August 2007
Why isn’t it considered normal for a man to have sex with another man? Why is there a preponderance of social disapproval of this kind of relationship? And who defines a male?
These were questions asked by Dr Carol Jenkins, who has been studying this subject for a long time, at the session on men who have sex with men or MSM at the 8th International Conference on AIDS in Asia and the Pacific (ICAAP) here.
The large turnout at the discussion, especially of women, “proved the issue was no more in the closet and has come out in the open”, said J B Prasada Rao, director of the UNAIDS’ Asia-Pacific region and chair of the session.
The term ‘MSM’ was first introduced into the lexicon of HIV/AIDS in the late 1980s to describe men practising certain behaviour, but without giving them a particular sexual identity. The idea was to avoid labeling them, yet describe them for epidemiological assessments.
Jenkins argued that in the absence of adequate research on the biological roots of sexuality, she saw no reason for the world to give those contemptuous looks to the relationship of men having sex with men, which she termed “activity” as opposed to preference.
Many studies, she pointed out – and illustrated graphically by pictures on the big screen -- suggested that diversity in gender and sexuality and sexual preferences existed among the animal and bird kingdoms as well.
But because of this confusion about sexuality, stigmatisation and marginalisation has led to HIV vulnerability among this group. In fact, much to the detriment, this ostrich-like approach has been the reason for this lack of attention and resources being pumped into HIV prevention and care for MSM.
According to studies, at least two percent adult males has been reported with MSM practices last year in the region. As the epidemic ages, MSM could make up between 10 to 30 percent of new infections. “Male-to-male sex is being treated as if it does not exist. The reality is male-to-male sex occurs in all countries and cultures,” said Rao.
“Despite evidence that MSM is one of the driving forces of HIV transmission in the Asia and Pacific region, relatively few MSM interventions strategically focus on prevention, treatment, care and support for MSM and TG (transgender) populations. It is estimated by many groups, including the UNAIDS, that targeted prevention programmes reach less than eight percent of MSM, although at least between five and ten percent of all global HIV cases are transmitted via sex between males,” according to a press statement by the Asia- Pacific Coalition on Male Sexual Health (APCOM). The coalition will formally be launched on Aug. 22 at ICAAP.
Now that the role of MSM has been realised, Fritz Van Griensven of the U.S. Centres for Disease Control (CDC) said there were so many men needing the attention “and so little time”.
Risk behaviour data collected from various countries in Asia showed a high percentage of unprotected sex among MSM – 79 percent with regular male partners in Beijing, China, 55 percent once during three encounters in India, 61 percent with casual partners.
“So when there is risk, there are sexually transmitted infections (STIs), and the risk of HIV,” said Griensven, not just among MSM but among male sex workers and transgenders throughout the Asian region.
While there is evidence that there has been an increase in the risky behaviour, it still remains an understudied area. “For some countries (in denial) the worst has still to come,” warned Griensven, adding, “Discrimination, homophobia, stigma and taboo all limit the availability and access to HIV/STI prevention information, treatment and care” for MSM, transgenders and male sex workers.
The stage was set for the next speaker, Swarup Sarkar of UNAIDS, who gave a roadmap of how to tackle the problem.
In a study of 20 low and middle income countries of Asia and the Pacific in 2006, one- third did not have any programme for MSM, and majority of those which had, relied on external funding. But then for most (13 countries) in this group, MSM activity is illegal -- so how are governments to have any plans for men who have sex with men?
“But so is sex work, which is prohibited by many governments, and yet many governments fund programmes targeting sex workers,” argued Brad Otto, who presented a report of the U.S. Agency for International Development’s (USAID) Health Policy Initiative.
With so much discrimination, incomplete data, and the fact that MSM remain a hidden group, Otto said many remain unreachable. These same factors act as impediments in resource allocation, he said. “The ‘double stigma’ faced by these groups influences a range of policy, financing, and service delivery decisions,” added Otto.
He warned that with governments reluctant to fund MSM programmes, “withdrawal of donor funding will not necessarily lead to governments investing their own resources”.
Therefore, said Jenkins, there is a need for the creation of safe environments, greater understanding of sexuality, appreciation of diversity, defeat of tribalism and protection of the women in the lives of MSM.
Note: Just an article that i thought might be interesting for you guys.
Shayne Ward - No U Hang Up
Here's another major disappointment,
i was expecting Shayne Ward to come out with
a sophomore album with the formula he used on his first album.
Last month, when i first heard If That's Ok With You,
i was like...man, you're trying to hard to copy Akon.
I mean, the chipmunk voice is soooo.....yesterday.
And now the R&B flavored No U Hang Up,
ok, i admit it suit his voice, but i'd
really much prefer him doing something like That's My Goal...
No wonder the first single receive lukewarm response from the
mass. Tsk..tsk.. Mr Ward, stick to what you do best.
Still, i'll still buy his sophomore album due sometime next month.
Cause he's so damn cute, which pretty much save his album from being a total dud.
Not to mention his voice.
If he really wanna go for R&B,
try to learn a thing or two from Elliot Yamin.

Jordin Sparks - Tattoo
I found this on Ali's Music Blog last week,
Tattoo, first single off American Idol 6's winner Jordin Sparks
yet to be titled debut album.
Honestly, i've had had enough of all the Beyonces' and Rihannas'
around, and her debut single is kinda dissapointing...
Sure, her vocals are flawless, with a hint of Beyonce,
but really, i was hoping she'd go for a more...ballad-ish
route. I fell in love with her since she did
If We Hold On Together , a cover of Diana Ross's Hit.
But really, her first single sounded like a poor cousin of Beyonce's Irreplaceable.
And she looks great in straight hair,
wonder why she likes to sport afro and curly hairs.
But anyway, check it out.

Kuala Lumpur...Yuck!
I went to KL last friday to get my visa from the Taiwan office or something
(i was told that it ain't an embassy) by bus.
Damn, i mean, for the past 3 months, i've been back and forth
to KL and everytime i arrive at the Puduraya bus station, my
tummy'll do this flipping, and makes me feel like puking.
First time i went down there,
i think it was about 2 months ago,
the moment i arrive, the smell of uric acid hit me like...a car?
Haha... I thought, ok, maybe the DBKL forgot to clean up last night,
and that maybe they had a crazy street party last night with all the
drunken morons pissing all over the street because they crammed too
many liquor into their guts (or bladder) for their own good.
The second time i went there, i was like, geez,
is this really KL?
This time i really look at my surrounding,
as i haven't been paying much attention the first time i was there,
since it was too cold that morning, and it was drizzling,
and so, what i see makes me really wanna puke.
Advertising banners and fliers all over,
Loan sharks stickers filled up all the phone booths,
and worst, beside puddles of yellowish liquid (you get the drill)
there are even turds on the street that's obviously not from
four legged creatures.
Honestly, i don't even bothered to look around.
Seems all the too-tall buildings are there only to
camouflage all the disgusting stuff in the city.
And oh, i wonder why Putra Jaya looks so...clean?
Why'd the stupid government only put effort on building all sorts of
space NOT-efficient mosque, and useless buildings,
and spend millions on building useless structures
(and maybe a couple more millions to "inspect" the flaws like the leaks,
and more millions spend on fixing...the roof/ceiling)
Tuan Tuan & Puan Puan,
spend more managing what's important, like clean up the street of KL.
"Boleh" doesn't necessary meant we have to spend gazillions on
weird (they call it artistic) structures and buildings.
Oh, and i couldn't get any bus home that day,
since all the available tickets were snapped up,
and those which are available are too chicken to go on the
road as they were afraid of the stupid crackdown on bus drivers.
Maybe if it weren't of the death of the 21 people,
they will still be like...see no evil, hear no evil.
Pretending nothings wrong.
Our government have the weird tendency to act
ONLY after something happens.
So, i spend 240 bucks (both me & my dad) on taxi
(better than being stranded in the shitty city),
along with 255 on visa,
160 on 3 Armistead Maupin's book from Borders.
Haha... my wallets feels sooooo.... hollow. (hollow?)

The Negarakuku Controversy - The real Malaysia
Our government is...to put it this way...stupid.
I mean, yeah, Wee Meng Chee kinda offended the Islamic Community,
but instead of probe into the lyric and see if he speaks of the trruth,
they decide to make it into such a huge issue,
they wanna sue him.
So, the Razak Baginda guy who killed a woman is what?
Guilt free, because he doesn't offended anything patriotic?
And what about the controversy that Khairy guy sparked last year
regarding chinese and malay issue?
So he's allowed to do that, but not to speak of the truth.
Let's see, 50 years of independence,
the Chinese community has been doing well, and more WITHOUT any
special treatment from the government,
such as...oh, 5% discounts for the BUMIPUTERAS'.
What are they, babies who can't afford to stop being breast feed?
And how does the discounts and special treatment help the malays?
Poverty rate is still a lot higher among the malays.
And what about the stupid annoying chanting?
I'm telling ya, me and even my 8 years old brother know ow to chant the
Solat word by word. Pathetic eh?
Every morning, about 5 a.m., they'll start moaning like there's no tomorrow
in high, pitchy, broken notes.
Simon Cowell will faint when he hears it.
And the bribery problem?
Hell, i have to bribe 200 to the JPJ people to pass my drivers exam.
And my parents were constantly being hound by all those
traffic police who asked for bribes just about anywhere.
And not to mention all the snatch case, robberies, rape, murder etc.
Why don't they focus more on those issue rather than punishing those who's
brave enough to speak the truth?
We're less than 15 days till we reach 50,
and it should have been a celebration of advancing in all the political, technological
and cultural aspects,
instead, the entire country is under the hands of those corrupted,
foul mouth, religious (in a distorted, twisted way) politicians.
50 years,
Gemilang??
I think not.
If so why can't islamic convert their religions?
If you really speak of morality, what about the
"special" rule that allow Malays to marry four wives,
and the Qorban (korban) ritual?
Plain cruel and bloody, and ridiculously cruel.
And try to be more open minded.
Negarakuku, does kuku really meant "penis"?
To me, it's NEGARA-KUKU, negara yang berkuku besi. (dictator)
I really want to be proud of my own country,
but there are a hundred gazillion reason for me not to.
Only one, i was born, and raised here.
Vanessa Anne Hudgens & Zac Efron - Gotta Go My Own Way
OMG, can't wait to watch the movie...!!!
This is the (i think) best song on the soundtrack.

Heroes: Generation [Season 2] Preview
Darn it, have to wait another month or so to catch the new season.
Can't wait.
My O2 XDA Zinc
Look, maybe there are some Apple fans out there who're probably cursing the hell outta my
ass now for bad mouthing the much hype iPhone. The fact is, i did the review AFTER i use the phone. It's not from a "sour grapes" point of view.
I went to SF to visit my uncle just last month.
And since he bought that phone,
of course i'm curious, cuz people are like crazy over it,
which i can't really put my hands on WHY?
I mean, i bought my O2 XDA Zinc for a bargain price of RM1899 here.
And it offer lots and lots of great features,
which you won't find in the iPhone.
I mean, come on! Can't a guy have a lil' point of view?
I didn't mean to insult the iPhone,
it's just an honest review, that's all.
Yes, i wasn't a big fan of Apple or Steve Jobs, cuz i think he's a lil' too obnoxious,
anyway, i just don't think iPhone is what Mr. Jobs claim,
"A REVOLUTIONARY"
My Zinc has its flaws, but it's still a gazillion miles better than iPhone.
I even have some friends in the US regret buying the phone so much,
they couldn't wait to sell it away on eBay,
and get back to their Sidekick or V3.
And that's the truth.
Gay pastor leads service, his partner watches with pride
BY AUDREY EDWARDS KUALA LUMPUR: Angel Ayala sat in the second row of people, watching with pride as his partner Rev Ou Yang Wen Feng calmly led the faithful through a two-hour Sunday service at a hotel here. And through it all, Ou Yang, a self-confessed gay pastor knew he was not alone because of Ayala's presence. “He has been very supportive and it was important to know that I was not alone,” Ou Yang said in an interview yesterday after the service attended by about 100 people. He said it was important to show other gay people that it was possible to come out together, and to heterosexuals that gay relationships were not just about sex but about “spiritual and emotional love.”
The pair has been together for four-and-a-half years and hope to marry when same sex marriages are legalised in New York.
Ayala, a finance manager said he supported Ou Yang’s plan to set up a church in Malaysia.
Ou Yang, 37, is a Malaysian pastor who serves at the Metropolitan Community Church (MCC) in New York. He is also currently pursuing his doctorate at Boston University.
He hopes to set up an MCC branch here in 2010, before which, friends would help him start a cell group that he said was open to all regardless of their sexual orientation.
Earlier during a press conference, Ou Yang, when asked about opposition from other churches in Malaysia, said as a Christian minister, he would pray for them.
The service also saw Metropolitan Community Churches founder Bishop Troy D. Perry giving a sermon. Also present was his partner of over 22 years, Phillip De Blieck.
Perry said he was thankful for having De Blieck as he was that “special someone” who was there for him through good and bad times.
They married under Canadian law at the MCC of Toronto in 2003 and hope to get the marriage recognised by the California State Supreme Court by this year.
Perry believed the church would be a blessing for the gay and lesbian communities in Malaysia.
He also spoke of his promise to his partner that he would stand by him, when De Blieck was diagnosed with HIV two decades ago.
When asked about his former heterosexual marriage and his two sons, Perry said he was in contact with one of his sons and is a grandfather of three.
De Blieck, 43, said his “greatest gift” to the world and the church was to always be supportive of Perry’s work.
“When I met Troy, I did not know who he was. And I think one reason Troy fell in love with me was because he knew I was interested in him as a person and not the title,” he said.
Flash Gordon
Flash Gordon is an American science fiction television series that premiered in the United States on August 10th, 2007, at 9pm with a special 90-minute premiere episode. The series began filming in Vancouver, Canada in May of 2007. The show's first two episodes were written by executive producer Peter Hume. In this version of the series, Flash's actual name is "Steven Gordon", with "Flash" being a nickname.
The new series, based on the comic strip of the same name and its adaptations, adds a character called Baylin (Karen Cliche), a bounty hunter from the planet Mongo. She finds herself trapped on Earth and becomes a comrade of Flash (Johnson); his former girlfriend, Dale Arden (Gina Holden); and scientist Dr. Hans Zarkov (Jody Racicot), who are able to travel back and forth through a "portal between the two worlds" instead of space ships. In a more subtle change, Ming will not be called "the Merciless" and will exhibit the traits of modern, media-savvy dictators.
Just a show i bump on in torrentspy.
Great Sci-Fi flick. It's actually a remake of some tv show or comic from the 50's.
Pretty darn good.
Fear.
To be frank, i traveled a lot,
i mean, the longest period was when i was spending my
holiday at my Uncle's place in San Francisco, for two months.
And i know, in the end,
i have a home to return to.
But now, i don't know how to explain this but...
i had a dream last night,
i couldn't recall much, but far as i know,
it's fear. Like...i don't know what to do away from home
for a long period...
Yes, i'll be back on chinese new year...but that'll
be like...what? 5 months later?
And how much time will i have to spend at home?
I kinda feel regret that i haven't been spending my time
in a way that it's not like i'm wasting it for the past 7 months or so.
Shopping and books,
So i went to Queensbay Mall yesterday and bought like...a tons of stuff.
A new camera, a Creative Zen-V Plus, some tv series that i never bother
to download (Lost,The 4400,Supernatural).
And, not to mention a truckload of new books.
Yeah, i ain't exaggerating here. I spent almost a thousand bucks just on books!
Haha... Even the cashier was bewildered that someone actually bought so many stuff.
Haha...

Humuhumunukunukuapuaa
This song were performed by Ashley Tisdale & Lucas Grabeel,
and was featured in the soundtrack of High School Musical 2.
One of the most ridiculous song i've heard,
still, it's fun, and funny.
Gay pastor sparks uproar
By LOONG MENG YEE
KUALA LUMPUR: A controversy has erupted among the Christian community over what they claim is an attempt by a self-confessed gay pastor to set up a church here.
For the past week, protest e-mail and SMSes have been sent to Rev Ou Yang Wen Feng, a Malaysian pastor who serves at the Metropolitan Community Church (MCC) in New York. He has been back here for about a week.
According to the MCC homepage, the church is part of an international movement of Christian churches reaching out to all, including homosexuals, bisexuals and transsexuals.
Ou Yang, 37, has drawn much flak from Christians for his plan to hold a Sunday service at a hotel this week.
He came out of the closet about his homosexuality last year and is said to be the first pastor in Malaysia to do so.
When contacted yesterday, Ou Yang said he was merely trying to set up a church “where everybody felt safe and welcomed”.
It is unfair to label it a gay church, he said, adding that the hate-mail had hurt him.
“This church is not limited to gays but serves all people. This will be an active church. We have so many community-centred plans, such as assisting the poor, charity work and upholding justice,” he said.
Ou Yang noted that the New York church served food to 5,000 homeless people and hoped to launch similar programmes here. He plans to return to Malaysia for good in 2010.
He credits his former wife for giving him strength to be true to himself, acknowledging that she had endured much anguish during their seven-year, childless union.
Asked if his church would solemnise same sex marriages, he replied: “Same sex marriages are illegal in Malaysia, so how can I perform them? However, I will bless the union.”
Ou Yang said that his talk in Penang last week received much opposition from “faceless parties”. However, the talk saw a full house of about 200 people instead of the initial estimate of 60.
“Many are just curious about me. They ask me many things about homosexuality and my life. They just want to know more and not to be converted by me,” he said.
The National Evangelical Christian Fellowship Malaysia secretary-general Rev Wong Kin Kong, when contacted, acknowledged the proposed worship on Sunday had sowed anxiety among Christians.
“One of the reasons for the emotional reaction is because Christians do not want others to assume they condone such a thing,” said Wong.
He added that the churches could not accept Ou Yang’s version of the church because “it is clear that the Bible prohibits a sexual relationship between people of the same sex. If a person condones same sex marriages, it is definitely violating Christian principles.”
Wong said the churches had always welcomed all kinds of people, including homosexuals.
“It is the deviant sexual behaviour we do not condone. We cannot stop him wanting to set up such a kind of church, but the evangelical churches will inform followers of our stand and advise them not to follow this teaching,” he said.

This is by far, THE best non-fiction i've read.
And it was written by a gay Malaysian Pastor who resides at New York.
Being a gay myself,
i feel...to be honest, i have no idea what i feel.
I cry after finishing the book,
maybe it's the pressure and insults and slurs i endured
ever since i told my "friends" that i'm gay.
Great read.
Heard he's going to set up a local church here.
Although i'm not a Christian,
i'm totally behind his back.
There's nothing wrong with being gay.
We deserves to be treated equally.
He's the man's man,
because he fight for our rights,
and defend us.
A salute to Reverend O-Young WenFeng.

Forever Charmed
I was listening to Eddi Reader's Bell, Book & Candle which was
featured in the season premiere of the 4th season of Charmed.
Just found the link last night for the album, since i couldn't
find it anywhere locally.
The song made me cry, really, there's no other tv shows that come close
as it's my all time favorite. It's been a year plus since the show ended,
and really, i missed it so much. The show literally accompanied more than half of
my childhood. Since the show ended, i felt hollow inside, like parting with a family member.
Really missed that show a lot.

Zac Efron on Rolling Stone
Abroad.
It's about less than a month till i leave
home to study abroad, all by myself.
Now that i'm leaving,
i kept thinking back why was i so desperate to leave the comfort
of my own family, siblings (although they can be quite annoying)
and everything familiar.
Not that i never travel abroad before,
it's just those were for fun,
and i know i have a place to return to eventually.
Sigh...
I guess even little birds will have to leave their nest sometime.
But hopefully everything will turn out well.
I've had my whole life plan out,
like double major in Anthropology along with English Language & Literature,
do my master in the US (maybe SF since i spent a couple years there),
and a huge possibility i won't refer Malaysia as home anymore.
Maybe, maybe not.
Guess this post is just another pointless rambling of mine.
Pushing Daisies
I just finished watching the pilot episode of Pushing Daisies
and i have to say, it's THE best TV show pilot to premiere this fall.
I mean, both Bryan Fuller (Heroes) and Barry Sonnenfeld did a great job
in combining murder, supernatural, drama, romance, mystery, and humor all
together, and get away with an awesome show!
The characters are quirky, especially the neurotic aunts of Charlotte (or Chuck).
The sets are colorful and funny...somehow,
imagine Big Fish, everything is weird, funny, colorful and bright,
which is in a sharp contrast to the main elements present in the show,
death.
Ned, a pie maker, played by Lee Pace is a dorky, motormouth guy,
who has the powers to bring dead people alive with only a touch.
And if he touches whoever he brought back alive the second time,
they will be dead permanently.
And the dead is alive for more than 1 minute,
someone else have to die...something like a universal balance rule or something.
Charlotte, or known as Chuck by Ned, is played by British Actress Anna Friel,
and to tell you the truth,
i have no idea she's British till i read her profile in Wikipedia.
Her accent is perfect, and she just...funny in a serious sort of way.
But, as i mentioned above,
Chuck's aunts, Aunt Lily and Aunt Vivian
are weird but steals the thunder off the main characters every time they appear on
screen. Both are played by Swoosie Kurtz and Ellen Greene respectively.
Anyway, look out for this show,
premiering this 3rd October on ABC.

My New School! Ooops..University!
Gosh, I'm so excited.
Here's another picture of the main temple in front of my University.
Nice eh?
But what freaks me out is that I'm on my own,
traveling alone to Taiwan since my parents are going to Barcelona for
God knows what reason.
Sheesh, says it's a great opportunity for me to be a man and grow up.
Well...sigh...

Microsoft Office 2007 Gives me a headache!
Ok, i've upgraded my laptop to Vista Ultimate,
which i found disappointing,
since i feel like being cheated, as
it just doesn't live up the hype.
And Microsoft Office 2007 is too confusing,
even though the interface is a lil' nifty and cool,
but the whole thing is too confusing.
Took me more than 2 hours
to finish up stuff that i can finish in less than 20 minutes.
Altantuya Shaarribuu's Murder Case, Conspiracy?!
I was again,
shocked by the news the court has
decline the second accused - Kpl Sirul Azhar Umar's
statement of which he pointed out the
spot where they blow Altantuya's body.
I mean, gosh,
the case is getting way too complicated and twisted.
How can the court throws out an accused's statement
with the reason that he was under pressure and was
force to blurt out the statement.
So, what if i killed someone,
told the authorities i killed them,
in details, and told them,
"oh, some guy force me to admit!"
Does that makes me innocent??
To me, the whole case is all about
politics, power play, and it's obvious someone
powerful is behind the case, "PUSING" here and there.
All the evidence were there,
yet they gave lots of stupid excuses
not to charge the accused.
So where the heck is justice?
Well, this is Malaysia.
You have a Dato' or whatever pjk or pjm, Yang Berhormat..
before your name, and some political background, with a dash of cash,
you can get away with anything and everything.
Lil' Mama - Lip Gloss
This girl, Lil' Mama is so cool.
Her rap is so crazy and funky.
Even the video's cool.
If you like her, you might wanna check out the
DR. Luke remix version of Avril Lavigne's Grilfrend
which features her trademark crazy rap.
Keke Palmer - Footworkin'
Keke Palmer is an American SAG Award-nominated NAACP Image Award-winning actress and singer. She is perhaps best known for playing the title role in the 2006 film Akeelah and the Bee and as Mary in Jump In!.
Anyway, her debut album is set to it stores this September
and she has release a few singles come bundled with her self titled EP
release through iTunes.
Anyway, follow these two links for two of her songs from her debut album, SO Uncool.
Footworkin' - http://www.mediafire.com/?1tnjz0xcjap
this song has a very old school vibe with a real funky beat. Love the song.
Keep It Movin' - http://www.mediafire.com/?diwnxy5urmz
this song was being compared with Akon's Don't Matter...don't know why.

Smile!
SMILING is infectious,
you catch it like the flu,
when someone SMILED at me today,
i started SMILING too!
I passed around the corner and someone saw my grin,
when he SMILED,
i realized i'd passed it on to him,
i thought about that SMILE,
then realized it's worth,
a single SMILE just like mine can travel 'round the earth.
So,
if you feel a smile begins,
don't leave it undetected.

during Chinese New Year at Little Penang Street.

Malaysian Bloggers Threaten!!
For the last decade, Malaysia has taken a liberal stance with Internet sites even as it censors traditional media offline. Now, an upsurge in controversial postings by local bloggers is getting the government’s attention. Now Malaysia is threatening to use its anti-terror laws against anyone who insults the king or Islam.
What if we speak of the truth?
Huh? We sought for help from the authorities,
yet all they want from us are false statements and "kopi duit" (bribe).
Islamic againts Gwen Stefani's The Sweet Escape Tour in Kuala Lumpur
Just mere couple days after the UUM dress code controversy,
I was angered by yet another stupid controversy
some Islamic organization or whatever stirred up
here in Malaysia.
They were trying to pressure the government to
restrict American singer-actress-designer Gwen Stefani's
The Sweet Escape world tour.
I mean, i was never really a big fan of hers,
although i'm lovin' some of her songs, and although
her fashion sense is a tad too vampy and over the top,
she manage to pull it off without being slutty or whatever.
And those Islamic conservative organization or whatever
(hereinafter known as ICOW...ooh..sounds catchy!)
try to urge the government to cancel the concert due to
"TOO MUCH SKINS".
Um, hello, she's not naked on stage,
and all the artist who came to Malaysia for concerts
respect the laws and regulations on proper clothing.
Like a couple of years ago,
when Mariah Carey did a concert here,
she didn't even bother to change,
just a top and jeans throughout.
Last year, we see The Pussycat Dolls did a mini concert at Sunway Lagoon
and people were like damn! The authorities fined the organizing people some 10K
because of what they say...improper clothing.
Hello, pig brains, it's a waterpark, for God's sake.
Everyone else is bikini clad.
If these goes on, slamming the door on the artist face,
i doubt chances are there won't be any more tourist here.
What's with the "Tourism Year" while you're kicking people out
jus because the way they dress themselves.
Uh, and why don't they just ask the
transsexual looking malay singer..Amy i think.
Even the name's a woman's name.
Don't even go to morality and all those bull shit.
Japanese people (Harajuku especially)are known to dress eccentrically
and yet they remain their high moral values and were known to be
some of the most polite people in the world.
Who are they to speak of MORALITY when their kind are killing mercilessly
somewhere else, instead of lamenting on other people's clothing choice.
If they have known of proper morals,
they wouldn't hide behind some hood and blast people's heads off,
using their God's name.
And don't forget about those young Malays,
who threaten my frail grandparents and rob them a record 6 times,
and those Malay Policemen who asked my grandad that if he's mistaken the
robber for Indons and brush him off without any further investigations or whatever.
Call me racist, i'll give you a million reasons that give me the rights to be one.
Brutality and inhuman acts. Fucking Talibans!!!!
It sounds funny but,
after reading the news that another Korean civilant
being held hostage in Iraq was killed,
i weep and curse so hard as if
some close relative passed away.
I still feel the pressure on my chest kinda sensation,
the kind you'l feel when you're in extreme anger.
Those mother-fucking sons of bitches,
what have the people done wrong to deserve that?
Parents' heart are crushing,
imagine knowing where your child is,
slaughtered randomly,
yet can do nothing in saving them.
Does Allah asked them to kill???!!!
Prove it to me then!!
It really pisses me off, they should al rot in hell.
No god will put mercy upon them.
If i could,
i'll condemn those sons of bitches to burn eternally in
a pit of endless torment,
let them feel the pain, suffer and heart breaks of those they inflicted
upon the victims and families.
And the news that they would train children to kill hostages!!!
Fuck!!! They're fucking bunch of craze demons!!!
Childrens are suppose to be pure, innocent with a beautiful heart.
No child was born evil.
But they want to lead them to the path where evil and darkness lurks.
Damn them. For producing demons out of childrens! Damn those evil demons.
If they aren't happy,
trace me down, confront me if they have the guts,
or balls. Considering all the cloth they drape on their filthy body,
which are enough to make...what? Gazillions of floor mat,
chancs are them having balls are nil.
Fuck those evil, inhuman taliban pigs!!!!
