Nude

I got to admit,
besides Facebook, i have a couple of
personals accounts scattered all over the internet,
ranging from sites such as twitter, friendster,
and the Gay Dating site: Fridae.

Initially, joined the site for only one purpose,
to read the articles pen by one of my favourite author
Mr. O-Young Wen Feng.
But, i kinda roam around the site,
and what do you know, i made some friends there.

Ok, if you really know the real Wyatt,
you'd know that he NEVER (ok, sometimes) compliment
on something on his blog.
I love that site, sure, whats with all the nice people
i got to know there,
but what irks me is that, does everyone HAVE to
post partial nude pictures showing off their muscles or whatever?
Worst, some even post pictures of...*GASP* their
lower body clad in underwear.

Um...ok, i know what you guys thinking
and this issue of me on the nude pics weren't sparked
by jealousy (ok, maybe a little, but i'm proud of my brain, not a empty shell
on a mannequin-perfect body),
but it's kinda offensive, not in the sense of them clad in almost nothing,
but offensive to me, and maybe some people out there
(though i wouldn't really count on that)
who are not shallow, judgemental or anything.
I mean, i don't send message to a person based solely on how
hunky they are, and i ain't looking for
mindless sex, but i got to say, most are.

Thankfully, i've had my share of nice people
whom i enjoy conversing with.

Argh.
Story of my life,
being gay requires you to put muscles on your body,
just so you'd get people's attention.
Sigh...sad.
And all those stupid gay prides claim that they are promoting
gay rights, with sissy guys clad in speedos and underwears hoarding the streets,
while i, the nerd and outcast in the gay world being treated
as no more than a plank on the street.
Is that really the image you wanna convey to the already
wary-of-gay public??

Sad.

XOXO

Ok, so i've been up to literally nothing lately,
boring boring boring.

Aside from finishing the entire Twilight Saga, including the
online only Midnight Sun, i've started on my book.
Ok, when i say started, i mean i'm writing one.

I still vaguely remember the manuscript i had a few years ago,
finished like 50 pages and kinda lost it.
Sigh...they say shattered dreams.
I'd say my muse bailed on me.
Dang it, what the heck am i muttering here.

So, ok, i've been working on it on and off,
and might pitch it to my professors and some editors,
but i guess chances of it getting publish is...well,
one could only hope.

Besides reading thrashy teen novels,
and writing my book (on and off),
facebook, fridae, gmail and that oh so addictive guilty pleasure
Gossip Girl make up most of my 12 hours here in my
parents' BORING office.

Man, can't wait to get back to school.
Weird, never thought i'd missed school,
throw me back a few years and i will think i lost my mind.

Hmm..

That's about it i guess.
You know you love me,
XOXO
Gossip...Guy(?)

On Cloud Nine

I've made up my mind to blabber on this platform once a fortnight from now on.
Anyway, i've been on cloud nine lately.

Met this really wonderful angel.
Who knew, there are pure, genuine, sincere people out there!

By the way, my heart goes out to those who lost their lives,
love ones, home, or anything for that matter, in the flash flood
in the southern part of Taiwan.
I love Taiwanese, they're the strongest people i've come to know.
I'm sure they'll get back on their feet in no time.

God Bless~

Homphobic Violence

This is sad. LGBT deserves the right to live. We never taunt those religious and ultra conservative people, but why do they always lashes us with hate and violence? Did God teach them to hate and kill? What kind of God/Religion is that?

TEL AVIV (Reuters) - A gunman sprayed automatic fire at an Israeli club for gay teenagers on Saturday, killing two people and wounding at least eight, police and witnesses said.

The shooting spree in central Tel Aviv set off a citywide security clampdown, reviving memories of Palestinian attacks that have ebbed in recent years. But a police spokesman said that the incident was "criminal, rather than nationalistic."

Citing witnesses, Israeli television said a black-clad, masked gunman stormed into the Tel Aviv Gay and Lesbian Association building and opened fire in a basement room where teenage homosexuals were holding a weekly support group.

Most of the casualties were minors, the police spokesman said, adding that the assailant was believed to have used an automatic weapon such as an M-16 rifle.

"This is an unprecedented event for Israel and for the community," association director May Pamel told Channel 10 TV.

"We have joined the roster of 'civilized' countries where hatred is the standard."

Coastal, cosmopolitan Tel Aviv has a bustling gay scene, but open homosexuality is less welcome in conservative areas of the Jewish state. Annual gay pride parades in Jerusalem meet with often violent protests from ultra-Orthodox Jews.

Tel Aviv police chief Shachar Ayalon stopped short of branding the shooting a hate crime remarks to reporters.

But one protester at the scene held up a placard blaming a powerful religious Jewish political party whose members have regularly inveighed against gays.

Israeli media said police had warned other gay clubs in Tel Aviv to close for fear of a follow-up attack.

Update.

Hmm...It's been like, what? A month since i last made any posting here.
Guess there's just not enough motivation for me to actually post anything.
Anyway, enough of my blabbering, to you who stop by every now and then,
please leave a message just so i know that people are still reading my blog.
Sounds vain? LOL! See it as a plea, por favor~

++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

Ever since the Beng Hock incident, it seems every major who(s) in the political scene jump to the
"Justice for Beng Hock" bandwagon. Interesting.

Although i pity the deceased, and truly am horrified like the rest of Malaysia regarding the conspiracies strung in the country, i just couldn't shake off the feeling that the whos and whos in the political scene who are busy putting up banners and coming out with embarrassing antics
like screaming profanities on the street are doing that just so they could earn a vote or two
from sympathetics over the country. Politics, no one's really on the good/light side.

All in all, my late sympathy to the family and friends of Yap Beng Hock. RIP~

====================================================================

Beloved Malay director Yasmin Ahmad passed away a few days ago.
Sad. She's one of the rare Malaysian director which i admire, both her as a public figure who fight hard in the unity of Malaysian and her work, portraying the harmonious Malaysia albeit races and religions.

Once again, RIP~

++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

It seems June and July mark the passing of many great public figures. Michael Jackson and Farrah Fawcett are two others who sadly left the world for a better place. A lot of people might
snort at the freakishness of Michael Jackson these past few years, but i never look pass him as more than a great philanthropist who support world peace in songs like Heal The World.

Although i was never really a fan of his, but i do felt sorry for him, living under constant scrutiny of the public eyes. May he rest in peace now.

====================================================================

For the past 6 days, i took part in the Taiwanese Higher Education Fair held in both Hotel Istana, Kuala Lumpur and Kluang, Johor.

Part 1: Kuala Lumpur

I never really like going to the capital city of Malaysia, for it's a filthy city filled with foul smell and horrible, messy streets which are constantly overcrowded.

I mean, Malaysia, come on, do ya'll know how misleading the overplayed "Malaysia Truly Asia" ad is? The moment you step down of the Puduraya Bus Station, a pungent smell (a blend of piss, smoke, cigarettes, dust and whatever the heck is) hits the nose. Then there's Bintang Walk, one of the most crowded shopping district in KL, filthy streets, trash littering along the roadside, people offering massage, selling fake Vuitton, Gucci, and Rolex, which is a disgrace to the image of a metropolitan city. Then, the worst thing is, even the fountain well behind Suria KLCC, (which held the title as the second tallest building in the world), is overflown with rubbish and probably spit (i walked by some dude who just "ptui!" a wad of spit into the pool of water). What does that say about Malaysia? Instead of splurging gazillion Ringgit in putting up fake ads, why not use the money to elevate the physical image of the country's capital?

Look at Taipei 101, man, Taipei might be crowded as well, but for some reason, it's tidier and way better in terms of cleanliness.

Leaders of Malaysia, please stop babbling ridiculous political crap and freshen up the icky city.

Part 2: Kluang, Johor

Nothing much to say about this quiet little city.
Although surprisingly, i met plenty of great people throughout the 2 day event whom are surely growing as life-long friends.

And, one thing that surprises me is that, the one person that i loathe in the past ended up as a great person, 2 days worth of time together sure changes my perspectives a lot.

====================================================================

Anyway, that's all for now.
Ooo...btw, shout out to F.O.S (Factory Outlet Store),
found out that they carry my faves labels!
GAP, Old Navy, Banana Republic, DSquared2, Nautica, Dockers, Juicy Couture etc.. for a price that made me cried Hallelujah!!!

LOL!

No offense intended.

Fort Worth Police Chief: That Faggot Had It Coming

It's been like a month since my last post, and i doubt that anyone would even care. Anyway, here's a piece of news that makes my tummy churns more than the sight of a graffiti which spells "Love is for Heterosexuals" in a filthy street of Kuala Lumpur last night after i came back for my summer break from school.

Most residents of Fort Worth have never even seen the inside of a gay bar. Fort Worth's police chief Jeff Halstead is counting on that fact—counting on the average person's ignorance about gay bars and certain stereotypes about gay men—to get a half a dozen Forth Worth police officers off the hook for conducting a violent raid on a Forth Worth gay bar, the Rainbow Lounge, late last Saturday night. Seven men were arrested during the raid, which took place on the 40th anniversary of the raid on the Stonewall Inn that kick-started the modern gay rights movement, and one of those men—Chad Gibson—remains in intensive care with a brain injury. Gibson may not survive.

The officers who raided the Rainbow Lounge claim that the men in the bar made "advances" on them—and Forth Worth's police chief is backing them up:

Monday, police chief Jeff Halstead said the officers' actions are being investigated. However, he also said that officers that entered the bar during the scheduled inspection were touched inappropriately.

"You're touched and advanced in certain ways by people inside the bar, that's offensive," he said. "I'm happy with the restraint used when they were contacted like that."

Allow me to translate the chief's comments: "Them faggots in that thar bar touched mah officers and now they're complainin' about some rough stuff and one little ol' faggot with a brain injury? Those perverts should be grateful they're alive."

This is a classic example of the Gay Panic Defense. In the very recent past all a straight man who brutally murdered a gay man had to say was, "He made a pass at me!", and the jury would ignore the evidence and let the murderer off. The Gay Panic Defense doesn't fly in many courts of law these days but it still has currency in the court of public opinion. And the chief of police in Forth Worth, a major U.S. city, is attempting to use the Gay Panic Defense to convince the citizens of Fort Worth to ignore the evidence—to ignore photographic evidence and credible eyewitness accounts—and let his officers off.

And you'll never guess who the police are accusing of being the groper: Chad Gibson, the one man arrested at the Rainbow Lounge who can't defend himself and may never be able to give his side of the story. But another person at the bar witnessed Gibson's arrest:

"They were hyped up. They were loaded for bear," said Todd Camp, a veteran journalist who was there celebrating his birthday with friends. "They were just randomly grabbing people, telling them they were drunk."

Camp told me he has been in bars during TABC/police "checks" before, "and it was never anything like this." Usually, he said, officers discreetly walk through, looking for anybody who has had too much. This was different. "They were shoving patrons," Camp said, "asking, 'How much have you had to drink?'"

...

"[Gibson] was taken down hard," said Camp, with "four or five" officers wrestling him to the floor inside the club. Cellphone photos shot by patrons and posted to blogs show a person being held facedown by officers in a short hallway inside the club, then show a dent in the wall where his head was apparently banged.

The police claim that Gibson wasn't injured when those four or five cops slammed him to the floor of the bar, but after his arrest, when, drunk and handcuffed, Gibson somehow fell and hit his head on the pavement outside the bar.

All of this is bullshit.

I've been in a million gay bars. I've been in gay bars on multiple occasions when the police came in to check everyone's IDs and make sure no minors were being served. Gay men don't grope police officers when they enter gay bars. I find it inconceivable that the gay men drinking in the Rainbow Lounge in Fort Worth responded to a raid by attempting to grope the police officers. This "they groped us!" shit is a lie. As the owner of the bar, J.R. Schrock, put it at the protest the night after the raid:

"The groping of the police officer—really? We're gay, but we're not dumb," Schrock said to the crowd that gathered at the bar Sunday afternoon. "That is a lie, and I am appalled by it."

Jeff Halstead can't be allowed to use the Gay Panic Defense. His officers weren't groped, no one was "touched and advanced." Homophobic cops raided a gay bar, roughed up the patrons, and a young man is in the hospital and may die.

Some will say that this was just an ill-timed raid on a gay bar in Texas, of all places, one that got out of control. So what's the big deal? But this is exactly the kind of state-sponsored violence that gays and lesbians fought back against at Stonewall 40 years ago. Gay men all over the country are going to have to speak up and defend the patrons of the Rainbow Lounge. We can't allow the chief of police in Fort Worth to use the Gay Panic Defense or exploit stereotypes about gay men—so sexually reckless that they can't even keep their hands off cops during a raid!—to get away with violating the civil rights of gay men in Fort Worth or murdering Chad Gibson.

UPDATE: More on Chad Gibson's condition:

ac33/1246404201-gibson.jpgChad Gibson, the 26-year-old Fort Worth resident who wound up in John Peter Smith Hospital in the intensive care unit after a law enforcement raid on a gay bar over the weekend, remains in danger with a blood clot on his brain. Dallas Voice senior editor Tammye Nash reports on the newspaper's blog, Instant Tea, that Gibson's sister, Kristy Morgan, told her a CAT scan had revealed the blood clot has quit growing, but it is still considered a life-threatening situation. Until the clot dissolves, there is a danger that the clot could break off and cause severe brain damage or death. A rupture of the clot could also start bleeding again.

The blood clot could take from six months to two years to dissolve, according to the update. Gibson, shown in a picture from facebook.com, will likely remain in the hospital for the rest of the week and will be referred to a neurosurgeon for follow-up treatment. Surgery is reportedly not being considered at this time.

Discussion is under way about the establishment of a medical fund to assist Gibson. His hospital bill will undoubtedly be enormous, and it is unlikely that he will ever recover any of those medical expenses from the City of Fort Worth. Police officers and other government employees are protected by state law from liability in any legal action that arises in connection with the performance of their official duties, unless they are involved in misconduct or broke laws.

UPDATE 2: Someone needs to put this follow-up question to Fort Worth's police chief:

If Chad Gibson—the 160-pound, 26-year-old gay man that it took five of your officers to subdue—groped one of your officers, and if it was Gibson's lewd action that caused your officers to go absolutely apeshit, then surely Gibson—who is in an intensive care unit and may not survive his injuries—was charged with assault, right?

Wrong:

Officers then went to the Rainbow Lounge, which had opened about a week ago. They encountered two drunk people who made "sexually explicit movements" toward officers and another who grabbed a TABC agent's groin, according to the police report.

No one was arrested for assault but about half a dozen people were arrested on charges of public intoxication, according to police records. Police Chief Jeff Halstead said Gibson was the patron who grabbed at the agent's groin.

So... Chad Gibson sexually assaulted a Fort Worth police officer and, according to the Fort Worth's chief of police, Gibson's assault not only prompted but justified the actions of his officers at the Rainbow Room, but... Gibson wasn't charged with assault.

Can someone please ask the chief of police to explain how that works?

UPDATE 3: Via Slog commenter jasonzenobia: The Fort Worth Police Department's email address is fwpdweb@fortworthpd.com and the number for FWPD's internal affairs office is 817.392.4270. That's the number to call to report officer misconduct. Joel Burns is the openly gay member of the Fort Worth city council and he's been all over this. You can reach him at his email is Joel.Burns@fortworthgov.org.

UPDATE 4: I've heard from folks in Fort Worth that Joel Burns' office is being slammed with furious phone calls and emails about the raid on the Rainbow Lounge and the assault on Chad Gibson. Burns, however, has taken action on this and has called for an investigation and is doing everything an openly-gay elected official is supposed to do in a circumstance like this. If you're itching to send an outraged emails, Sloggers, I'd urge you to send emails to the six Fort Worth councilmembers who haven't joined with Burns and two of his colleagues in calling for a full and independent investigation into the appalling raid on the Rainbow Lounge.

Councilmember W.B. "Zim" Zimmerman
817-392-8803
District3@fortworthgov.org
Councilmember Danny Scarth
817-392-8804
District4@fortworthgov.org
Councilmember Frank Moss

Councilmember Jungus Jordan
817-392-8806
District6@fortworthgov.org
Councilmember Carter Burdette

And send an email to the mayor, Mike Moncreif, who has yet to make a statement:

Mayor Mike Moncrief

mike.moncrief@fortworthgov.org

Tell them the whole country is shocked and outraged and that you're appalled by their failure to join their colleagues Joel Burns, Sal Espino, and Kathleen Hicks in calling for an investigation into the raid on the Rainbow Lounge and the assault on Chad Gibson.

Pussycat Dolls - Hush Hush (I will Survive) [Official Video with Perez Hilton)

Won't Back Down - help repeal Prop 8

http://www.wontbackdown.org

Even though the California Supreme Court upheld Prop 8 and same-sex couples can no longer marry, we won't back down.

Kim Kardashian's Reaction to H8

Kim Kardashian (Keeping up with the Kardashians) took to her official website to voice her disappointment on Tuesday morning's discriminatory ruling against gay and lesbian Americans.

She says:

"Today the California Supreme Court decided to uphold Prop 8, outlawing gay marriage in California. This really makes me sad. I thought we were more forward thinking than this, and I'm disappointed in the Supreme Court for being so closed minded. Everyone.. gay, straight, bisexual, transgendered, EVERYONE should have equal rights to marry who they want to. I have many gay friends and all I want is for them to be happy, yet this is just another obstacle in their way. Now they must continue fighting to be granted a basic civil right that many people take for granted. Shame on you, California! We must all continue to fight the h8!"

Gibbons vetoes domestic partnerships bill

CARSON CITY – Gov. Jim Gibbons has vetoed a domestic partners bill to give gay couples some of the same rights enjoyed by those who are married.

The governor said Senate Bill 283 “would effectively bypass that constitutional mandate by allowing the rights and privileges of marriage to be bestowed upon non-married persons.”

Sen. David Parks, D-Las Vegas, the sponsor of the bill, said previously he would talk with leadership to determine if an attempt will be made to override the veto.

The bill was approved 12-9 in the Senate and 26-14 in the Assembly. A two-thirds vote is required to override the governor’s veto.

The governor also vetoed two other bills, dealing with regional planning in Washoe County and setting standards for medical care for state prison inmates.

So far the governor has disapproved nine bills this session and he is starting to catch up with the record of 12 vetoed by Gov. Bob List in 1981. And the governor is just getting the tax bills that he promised to veto.

The domestic partners bill provides couples, either of the same sex or couples of opposite sex who are not married, such rights as community property, responsibility for debts and the right to seek alimony in a split up.

A couple would be required to register with the Secretary of State’s Office and pay a fee. The bill says a private and public employer would not be required to provide health care benefits to a domestic partner of an employer.

The governor said the Nevada Constitution, in an amendment approved by voters, provides that “only a marriage between a male and a female person shall be recognized and given effect in this state.”

Gibbons said, “I believe that because the voters have determined that the rights of marriage should apply only to married couples, only the voters should determine whether those rights should equally apply to domestic partners.”

Voters in 2002 approved a constitutional amendment that a marriage should only be between a man and a woman. Supporters of the bill said this was about contract rights and not about marriage.

The governor said many of the same rights granted in the bill “are readily available today by way of private contracts.”

The governor said this veto “should not be taken to suggest that domestic partners are in any way undeserving the rights and protections.” He said he recently signed Senate Bill 207, which prohibits discrimination based on sexual orientation.

The governor also disapproved Assembly Bill 473, which requires the state Department of Corrections to adopt regulations on medical emergencies and the provision of medical and dental services to prisoners.

He said these requirements are already in the law. He said existing law already requires the director of the Department of Corrections to take “proper measures to protect the health and safety of staff and offenders in the institutions and facilities of the department.”

The governor said the corrections director is already required to establish standards for personal hygiene of offenders as well as standards for medical and dental services.

Assembly Bill 473 passed the Assembly 36-6 and the Senate 18-3.

Gibbons also vetoed a bill to require Washoe County to require in its comprehensive regional plan the amount of water that will serve the population.

The governor said existing law already ordered that regional planning in Washoe County must take into effect conservation including the use and protection of water resources. He said this bill is “redundant and unnecessary.”

Assembly Bill 119 cleared the Senate 27-14 and 12-9 in the Senate.

Equality

When will people realize that men are create equal and are all equally entitled to whatever basic human rights?

No one asked for the church or religion bodies to alter their teachings or whatever, the only thing we ask for, is that we are protected by the law.

And yet, conservative religious freaks everywhere spread out religious craps to protest the legislation of Gay Marriage.

God create men equally. God loves everyone equally. No one in this world should be deprived off his/her rights.

Will they ever understands??

California Upholds Proposition 8

The Supreme Court of California has officially upheld the anti-gay marriage Proposition 8, which was passed by voters last November. Backed by conservative and religious groups, Proposition 8 limits marriage to a man and a woman. However, 18,000 gay marriages performed in 2008 will be upheld. The CA Supreme Court's 6-to1 ruling was announced at 10:00 AM PST with the release of a massive, 186-page document. The Court voted unanimously to preserve the marriages of nearly twenty-thousand gay couples. Only Justice Carlos Moreno (formerly the only Democrat on the California Supreme court) voted to strike down Proposition 8.

NoH8 (No Hate) Campaign

All over California (and across the U.S.), dozens of rallies will be held in reaction of the state Supreme Court's decision this morning to uphold Proposition 8.

Gay and lesbian residents of this state are being denied the same rights, privileges and protections that heterosexual couples have when they marry civilly.

That is NOT right! That is not fair! That is wrong wrong wrong!

This is about equality!

The Lady Noire Affair by Christian Dior

The Dior fashion house broadcasted on the Internet a 6 minute 30 second thriller on the 20th of May, directed by Olivier Dahan starring Marion Cotillard, muse of the legendary Lady Dior handbag.

Marion play a wonderfully dressed femme fatale and it’s almost like watching a 6 ½ minute Hitchcock film.

The idea behind the campaign is to turn Dior back into an iconic brand, with products that have a true iconic status.

On the mini film John Galliano commented:

“We wanted to capture the glamour, the intrigue, the heroine and the mysterious allure that radiates around her, Marion has brought the Dior woman to life. She is incredible.”

A print campaign will accompany the film and there may even be another chapter to the it.

I know for a fact that my mom will faint of excitement for she absolutely adores the bag!

Upset

I feel lighter all over after languishing some burden i've been carrying while at the same time loathing for the past semester.

Despite that,
i still feel hollow and empty,
and slightly on the fence of being very upset...over nothing.
Jeez...

I'll post about them when i have the time to do so.

Hollow

I don't know what's gotten into me today,
i just felt like a piece of crap throughout the day.

After chatting with June just now,
i kinda felt better,
but i still couldn't shake away the hollow, empty feeling
that's been haunting me all day...

Sigh...

So many obligations,
yet,
i felt lost,
without any sense of direction...

P/S: i want one of the Albert Einstein bobble head which i saw in the Nights At The Museum 2: Smithsonian Night trailer. They gave me a chuckle or two.

Any moment everything can change
Feel the wind on your shoulder
For a minute all the world can wait
Let go of your yesterday

Can you hear it calling?
Can you feel it in your soul?
Can you trust this longing and take control?

[CHORUS]
Fly
Open up the part of you that wants to hide away
You can shine
Forget about the reasons why you can't in life
And start to try
Cause it's your time
Time to fly

All your worries, leave them somewhere else
Find a dream you can follow
Reach for something when there's nothing left
And the world's feeling hallow

Can you hear it calling?
Can you feel it in your soul?
Can you trust this longing and take control?

[CHORUS]
Fly
Open up the part of you that wants to hide away
You can shine
Forget about the reasons why you can't in life
And start to try
'Cause it's your time
Time to fly

And when you're down and feel alone,
Just want to run away
Trust yourself and don't give up
You know you better than anyone else

Any moment everything can change
Feel the wind on your shoulder
For a minute all the world can wait
Let go of yesterday

I want a Hermes Jypsiere!!!

While my mom is the proud owner of 2 Hermes Birkin in blue and pink togo and a Kelly, it took her more than 4 years to get the bags. Jeez... To think that people are so crazy about some stuff made out of leather...well, at least that's the way my perception is...until i laid my eyes on the gorgeous Hermes Jypsiere Messenger Bag.

The bag is somewhat a messenger bag carved out of a Birkin, but its design is simple, unisex and subtle, which is a breathe of fresh air compare to bag that literally splash their logos all over the bag, which could get a tad boring.

So, being the naive dude i always am, i asked my mom to check out the bag for me at a Hermes boutique, guess what? The friggin bag cost the same amount of money as a Birkin!!! Jeez... And on top of that, there's a wait list as well. Sad... One could only hope... Sigh... Now i understand why people are so crazy about Hermes, they have the "oomph" which makes people go all agag with their presence. Subtle, trendy yet classy. Ahh...if only i were Posh Spice, who, according to some media myths, she herself owned up to a hundred Birkin and Kelly. I want one in coffee togo leather!!!

Hellish Summer Heat

Heat scorch down,
fiery as hell;
i smell,
i sweat,
but i ain't losing fat;
moaning sound,
all around,
complaining of the goddamn heat,
with stinky feet,
and sweaty cheek;
i gotta say,

I HATE SUMMER!!!!!

Fendi Floral Box Clutch

I'm always a Vuitton-Gucci kind of guy, so Fendi never really works for me, but when i lay eyes on this gorgeous little clutch at purseblog.com, i know i had to blog about it. It's gorgeously designed with silk roses on the exterior, which are all in a very soft, sensuous color and they exudes a very elegant yet flirty fashion. The price tag, on the other hand, well, let's just say it's not really worth it. LOL!

I know my mom would hate it, since she loves huge hobos which she could basically stuff everything inside without giving much thought.

Duh.

Ah, it's been quite a while since the last time i blab about how horrendous my life is. Well, ya'll know how my life is (well, figures, as if anyone reads my blog anyway), busy busy busy with a schedule jam-packed with tons of obligations.

Anyway, despite all those stuff which i bit on but are all too much for me to chew, to say the least (man, and yet my new year resolution was to NOT say yes to EVERY SINGLE request), i guess it's the right time for me to at least make a little update of my life. (Duh, as if anyone cares, at all, and that's the reason why i don't care if the title of this particular post doesn't make sense at all, since NO ONE CARES!)

I felt as if my whole body is slowly melting, falling apart.
No more coffee, no more rubbish food.
But, one thing i noticed about myself is that,
i kinda got bloated. Maybe due to my lack of exercising.
As if anyone cares about how i look or how fit i am.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

And speaking about my body. Well, for a start, i have a LOT to complain.
To be honest, i am like the least superficial person who cares more about the physical attributes of a person than their inside. For a fact, i'm totally on the opposite side of the fence. Lately, i just couldn't get over the fact that, me being the average looking Joe who doesn't have the killer pecs or model-esque looks, is completely INVISIBLE to the world.

Walking down the 100m stretch of the dorm's hallway with my friend Viecie, i felt invisible, like totally void of the surrounding. No one acknowledge my existence, but when they sees Viecie, their whole face light up, they smile at him, they chat up with him. Whenever i walk down the hallway alone? I'm lucky if i could even get the dogs sunbathing on the field to look at me at all!

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

For the countless times, i tried real hard to convince myself that people do actually appreciate me as an individual, and gives me the opportunity to do something that they believe i could do well.

Uh, so wrong.

Last week was a prom thingie for the graduating seniors. Prior to the event, no one approach me for any assistance at all. Now i know why. The day of the event, i was asked to be in charge of the DV camera (the easiet, most useless job). I know for a fact that Roy from my class was set to perform, but when i saw him onstage along with a band and looking all polished and everything, i got sour and envious.

Does anyone knows i could sing well and hit the right notes along with exact pronunciation? Does anyone care to even ask? I want to be in a band, i want people to know, that i could also sing. I'm not jealous of them singing on the stage or anything, nor i crave for limelight attention, what irked me was what followed.

I was asked to audition for the role of Prof. Higgins of the play - My Fair Lady. I know perfectly for a fact that, the ONLY reason the'd even want me there was because of my native-like English pronunciation. If i was judge solely on my looks, well, don't count on them to even give me the time of the day.

Am i that ugly? Am i so average, that people actually doens't think i could sing? Are people really that shallow?

What kills me was the fact that Roy, armed with his HORRIBLE pronunciaion, was asked to audition as well! Go figures.

My self exteem just got squash, hard.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I met a dude on some friendship/dating site.
Yes, shamelessly, i admit i use those cheesy websites to get to know people, albeit that i don't use them often, as in the last time i went on to the site, it was 3 years ago. I was having this really nice chat with a guy who sound really nice, so everything went real smoothly, and then, he asked for my picture. That's when things fall apart.

I gave him my blog, and the moment he saw what i look like (i have pictures of me here), he blocked me. Yeah, mark this, less than one minute i gave him my blog, he blocked my account!!!! Fuck! People are shallow. Do i really look all that ugly?

For one thing, this isn't really the first time. First, Hall TYS that sick son of a bitch whom i dumped 4 years ago, Zark the DH dude who sent me all the wrong signals, and dumped me with no apparent reason nor any form of explanation, and of course, Henry/Henri who doen't seem to be that much keen on nudging me ever since i came back from his place. Figures.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

So what is the upside of being loaded and armed with a brain? Who cares my wallet is a thousand dollar Armani? Who cares that i own Vuitton? Who gives a fuck that i'm actually filthy rich and could easily buy them into liking me? No, for one thing, i make it a point for people to like me for the person i am, not the materail stuff. That's why i wear the smae clothes a few time a week, i use a cheap 990 bucks Nike messenger, and i keep my Gucci and vuitton away, not wanting to be superficial for flaunting them. What do i get in return? Ignorance from people, brushing me off like i'm not worth their time.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I'm tired. Of them, of everyone around me.
Everyone can go and screw themselves. Especially the person with either one of the 3 names i mentioned above.

Peace out!

Keith Olbermann Comments on Carrie Preejan securing her pageant title

Mr. Olbermann, you are friggin' awesome!

Miss California Press Conference following the decision to let her keep her Pageant title

Miss California USA: Carrie Preejan, in her own words after Donald Trump and the panels of the Miss California Pageant people decided she would keep her throne of Miss California.

Freedom of Speech has its limitation. Does she even know LGBTs around the world have their "freedom" to even live taken away. If preposition 8 passed, where does the freedom of the LGBT community?

Respect?

Where is the respect that LGBTs around the world rightfully deserve?

Come Make Pink Dot at 5/16

Everyone should have the freedom to love, regardless of sexual orientation. But fear, ignorance and prejudice often stand in the way. At PinkDot, we believe the first step to overcoming these barriers is for open-minded segments of society to come together. If you too feel that LGBT (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender) people deserve to express their love just like any other Singaporean, please join us at Hong Lim Park on 16 May 2009.

In this video, straight Singaporeans from different walks of life come together to talk about the LGBT people in their lives. Among the known faces are celebrity blogger Xiaxue, actress Pamela Oei, actors Lim Kay Siu and Lim Yu Beng, Dave Tan and Amanda Ling from local band Electrico, as well as Pink Dot's ambassadors Neo Swee Lin, Rosalyn Lee and Timothy Nga.

I cried watching this. I know for a fact that most of the people featured in the video are straight, but still, they go all out by supporting the cause of the LGBT community. A fact on why it is so different from the Taipei Pride March is that Taipei Pride steers more to a more flamboyant and sex route, which, to me doesn't really help in straighten the perspective of the public towards us. Thank you, Pink Dot for organizing such a wonderful event, and most of all, i want to thank a special person (whom i seldom speaks to but i still cherish him as a dear friend) for sending the link to this video and alert me about the event.

2NE1 - Fire

I've always been a fan of really banging music in the vein of GaGa...think Dance-Hall electronica with a really great killer beat and some awesome thumping.

Introducing K-Pop newest sensation, 2NE1, a girl group from Korea who interpret every styles and substances there is in the GaGa storm and made it their own. This song is truly MAJOR! I've never like Korean pop songs, but they changed my mind!!! Bring it 2NE1, more!!!

Britain's Got Talent: Jamie Pugh - Bring Him Home [off Les Miserables]

What the hell is wrong with America's Got Talent?
I mean, Britain's Got Talent spewed out REAL talents like this one over and over,
American's were...to say mediocre is an understatement.

Introducing- Jamie Pugh, a dude from Wales who drive a van by day and deliver pizza by night. He claimed to have never sing to a live audience before in his life, but his rendition of Bring Him Home of Les Miserables was tear-jerking and painstakingly gorgeous.

Check him out, he could well give Susan Boyle a run for her money.

By the way, it seems Les Miserables is the new must.
If only other shiteous reality show could produce actual talents which tops one another. Can't wait to see which other breakout star the show is gonna bring out next week.

Just What I Need (Sarcasm)

Due to some health issue,
i was not able to cycle at all.
Guess what those skanks said about me?
Well, nothing, but they make faces that says
"You're a piece of crap."

Guess what, just because i wasn't there
"helping" out with their stupid rendition of "Puteri Gunung Ledang"
doesn't mean that i didn't want to go or was in any way acting out.

Well, i'm tired of explaining,
and, i'm glad i went to watch Wolverine at the theater instead of
slaving myself over the critically panned performance.
(yeah, my friends who did go, all said it was crappy food and crappy performances, and they'd much rather get themselves a beer and some snacks at some bar.)

Another thing that irked me is that those skanks won the Sisters School Poster Contest.
Ok, i'm a fairly...fair person,
if the work is any good, i bow,
but the thing is,
theirs was like shit smudging a piece of paper.

I'm not saying mine was the best,
but i got no credit for spending time translating Spanish bits by bits into Chinese
just for my Universidad Central de Venezuela poster. I mean, even the one for CY-Fair College was waaaaaayy better.
And they said the prize money is for some charity expedition to Sabah.
Well, if they were anyone else, i'd believe it,
but since its the bunch of Skanks, that's like their way of saying "showing off" expedition of "pretend to be nice so people will notice them" expedition.

God, just what i need.
A bunch of SKANKS!!!!

!2%@%$$^!@$%!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Don't worry, there's nothing wrong with the title of this post.
I purposely type it that way.

I went to the ULTRA BORING novel reading class today,
and was met with another round of slammin by the fucking blind professor.
Does he really have to lambaste me with my name laid out in front of the entire fucking world?
Don't i deserve any credit for helping him, guiding him etc at all??

Sure, i didn't do well in this mid term,
which, admittedly, my fault, due to my poor time management and lack of sleep,
but does he have to go all out in slamming my dignity, stamper it, and killing
whatever flicker of faith in me altogether?
And worst, comparing me to some beggars?

Part of me simply snapped.
My health is waning and dwindling from bad to worst
(my blood pressure soared to a new height, my bladder and uterus was infected, my prostate got infected as well, and my gum wouldn't stop bleeding).

My brain simply shut down,
i just want to hang myself;
i'm sick of the fucking retarded world,
they look up on you and praises you when you're at your glory and you have all the benefits for them to leech off at,
but they simply ignore you, sneer at you, look down on you when you made some bad move and fail.

Laugh all you want ya'll fucking idiotic morons!
I simply couldn't and wouldn't care less any way.

And come to think of it,
what is the point of writing this piece of shit?
No one reads it anyway,
since people are more interested in reading some retarded gossip about hook ups and break ups in this idiotic university on BBS or whatever crap program that is.

Friends?

They care?

Really?
I wonder.

I'm in desperate need to shatter something, preferably made of glass or whatever materials that i could feel the echoes of vibration emit by the shattering of the thing into pieces of smithereens.

All of them can go and eat their own turd.

Drunk

The past week was a disaster,
me ripping my mid term linguistic paper apart was truly the..."highlight"
of the week.

Anyhow, not only i've been burning myself on both ends,
i am slowly killing myself.
I need a break,
a long, hard break.

Guess what?
I did just that last friday.
Slobbering down shots after shots of margarita and martini,
and mark this, i ain't really good with alcohol,
so imagine me downing so much of those.

Argh...hangover's still hurting me after more than 48 hours.
I need some sleep...i wish i wouldn't have to wake up..

Equality for All

This video put tears into my eyes.
Equality for all, Ya'll!!!!

Machael Savage - The Ultra Conservative A-Hole lashing out on the LGBT Society.

The world would be a better place without A-Holes like them.
What about the people who rape and kill women?
What about all the sexual harassment,
what about all the domestic violence,
and really, i could go on with the what about-s all day long.

Did God teach us to be bias, insensitive, inconsiderate, etc?
Does being Gay is pervert???
This dude should be condemned to hell.

Gays and transexuals are not the same!
This guy is obviously sick and twisted himself.
Perez Hilton is looking for beauty with brains,
not some half witted blondie with only an empty shell of a body.

And, does asking a questions in regard with the LGBT issue meant
promoting Transexuality?? Hell no!
If he says a woman should win the pageant with her beauty and only that,
he himself is sick and pervert,
as he merely objectify a woman as something...well, sexual.

I'm lost for words with the crap spewed out of this fuck hole.
He should go to hell.

Why We Will Continue To Fight And Be Very Vocal For Equality

This is absolutely heartbreaking.

Another young life lost!

11 year old Jaheem Herrera of Stone Mountain, Georgia, took his own life last week because his fellow classmates at Dunaire Elementary School harassed and bullied Herrera for thinking he was gay.

He was just 11 years old!!!

Jaheem's 10-year-old sister discovered her brother hanging from a fabric belt in his bedroom, no longer alive.

Herrera's stepfather said homophobic bullies at school would taunt and name-call his stepson, a 5th grader, repeatedly calling him "gay and a snitch." The boy was even brave enough to tell teachers and faculty at his school about the harassment, but the bullying continued.

Jaheem's tragic loss comes just weeks after the suicide of a Massachusetts boy, Carl Joseph Walker-Hoover, who also suffered bullying because classmates thought he was gay, attracted national attention.

He was 11 as well. His mother found him hanging from an extension cord in the family’s home.

The Woman who shut up Simon Cowell ---> Susan Boyle!!!

I know i'm kinda late at posting this, as by the time this post gets out, the popularity of this lady will still soar to a new height with her incredible talent.

I saw the video almost a week ago in Perez's blog. Man, i still got the shivers whenever i watch the videos of her singing the haunting I Dreamed a Dream from the musical Les Misérables

Go Susan!!! That said, do not judge a book solely by its cover, great talents come in packages of different sizes, and sometimes, strange packages as well.

Miss *Dumb-ass* USA

No offense calling her a dumb ass,
but her response is too bias. Her response should have been
"Let the states decide for themselves, because United States is a country
where states rule by themselves etc"
What was she thinking??

Don't..

I gave you my all, i don't expect you to accept me, as a whole.
Don't let me go.

Thanks for the memories.

Texas lawmaker: Asians should change their names to make them ‘easier for Americans to deal with.’

On Tuesday, State Rep. Betty Brown (R) caused a firestorm during House testimony on voter identification legislation when she said that Asian-Americans should change their names because they’re too hard to pronounce:

Rather than everyone here having to learn Chinese — I understand it’s a rather difficult language — do you think that it would behoove you and your citizens to adopt a name that we could deal with more readily here?” Brown said.

Brown later told [Organization of Chinese Americans representative Ramey] Ko: “Can’t you see that this is something that would make it a lot easier for you and the people who are poll workers if you could adopt a name just for identification purposes that’s easier for Americans to deal with?”

Yesterday, Brown continued to resist calls to apologize. Her spokesman said that Democrats “want this to just be about race.”

I was like....um...are ya'll really THAT dumb? Sometimes, this just shows how ignorant these political assholes are.

Quote from some responses:

Most Chinese DO have an English name for idiots who can’t pronounce anything over 1 syllable. You just have to be polite enough to ASK.

…could adopt a name just for identification purposes that’s easier for Americans to deal with?”

Also, can you just forget your heritage and country’s history? While we’re at it, just go ahead and erase your entire culture and identity, it will be much easier for you. Now I want you to have the words to God Bless America memorized by tomorrow…

Holy crap what an incredibly ignorant thing to say, especially for a politician who holds power.

Translation:
“What I am trying to say is we’ve worked so hard at dumbing down Americans that the idea of them having to learn to think again is painful. I mean, it has worked so well for me.”

Tell that to Zbigniew Brzezinski.

Betty Brown: “Your name is too difficult, Zabooboo, you should change it to make it easier for us Americans.”

Brzezinski: “But I’m an American, too.”

Betty Brown: “Yeah, I’m going to call you Bubba.”

11-Year-Old Hangs Himself after Enduring Daily Anti-Gay Bullying

GLSEN Calls on Schools, Nation to Embrace Solutions to Bullying Problem

NEW YORK, April 9, 2009 - An 11-year-old Massachusetts boy, Carl Joseph Walker-Hoover, hung himself Monday after enduring bullying at school, including daily taunts of being gay, despite his mother’s weekly pleas to the school to address the problem. This is at least the fourth suicide of a middle-school aged child linked to bullying this year.

Carl, a junior at New Leadership Charter School in Springfield who did not identify as gay, would have turned 12 on April 17, the same day hundreds of thousands of students will participate in the 13th annual National Day of Silence by taking some form of a vow of silence to bring attention to anti-LGBT (lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender) bullying and harassment at school. The other three known cases of suicide among middle-school students took place in Chatham, Evanston and Chicago, Ill., in the month of February.

"Our hearts go out to Carl’s mother, Sirdeaner L. Walker, and other members of Carl's family, as well as to the community suffering from this loss," GLSEN Executive Director Eliza Byard said. "As we mourn yet another tragedy involving bullying at school, we must heed Ms. Walker’s urgent call for real, systemic, effective responses to the endemic problem of bullying and harassment. Especially in this time of societal crisis, adults in schools must be alert to the heightened pressure children face, and take action to create safe learning environments for the students in their care. In order to do that effectively, as this case so tragically illustrates, schools must deal head-on with anti-gay language and behavior."

Two of the top three reasons students said their peers were most often bullied at school were actual or perceived sexual orientation and gender expression, according to From Teasing to Torment: School Climate in America, a 2005 report by GLSEN and Harris Interactive. The top reason was physical appearance.

"As was the case with Carl, you do not have to identify as gay to be attacked with anti-LGBT language," Byard said. "From their earliest years on the school playground, students learn to use anti-LGBT language as the ultimate weapon to degrade their peers. In many cases, schools and teachers either ignore the behavior or don’t know how to intervene."

Nearly 9 out of 10 LGBT youth (86.2%) reported being verbally harassed at school in the past year because of their sexual orientation, nearly half (44.1%) reported being physically harassed and about a quarter (22.1%) reported being physically assaulted, according to GLSEN’s 2007 National School Climate Survey of more than 6,000 LGBT students.

In most cases, the harassment is unreported. Nearly two-thirds of LGBT students (60.8%) who experience harassment or assault never reported the incident to the school. The most common reason given was that they didn’t believe anything would be done to address the situation. Of those who did report the incident, nearly a third (31.1%) said the school staff did nothing in response. While LGBT youth face extreme victimization, bullying in general is also a widespread problem. More than a third of middle and high school students (37%) said that bullying, name-calling or harassment is a somewhat or very serious problem at their school, according to From Teasing to Torment. Bullying is even more severe in middle school. Two-thirds of middle school students (65%) reported being assaulted or harassed in the previous year and only 41% said they felt very safe at school.

Carl's suicide comes about a year after eighth-grader Lawrence King was shot and killed by a fellow student in a California classroom, allegedly because he was gay.

GLSEN recommends four simple approaches schools can take to begin addressing bullying now.

Said Walker in the Springfield Republican: "If anything can come of this, it's that another child doesn't have to suffer like this and there can be some justice for some other child. I don't want any other parent to go through this."
